Best superhero movie of all time? (Nominations thread)

I though that Bloodshot was more of a "body repair nanites" thing, than actual cyber?

    Wheel of Time S3

I haven't read the books and love how Perrin sticks to his morals, both during and after the battle.

I would tend to disagree with that statement, but understand it. The best villains usually think they are heroes. The best villains are generally either right, in their own minds, right for the wrong reasons, or right but their "fix" is even worse than the problem they perceive. I think that...

And it's one of those rare cases in which the villain is right. Just wrong in his methods.

That was such a callback to my Saturday mornings during childhood. I was grinning ear to ear.

at the point that QT started grinning during the destruction of an irreplaceable vintage musical instrument, I decided it was time to leave everything Tarantino.

I really liked this movie. Also one I saw in theatre. It at least tried for something different and the effects had a definite European flair, rather than the usual nuts & bolts North American appearance. "I like dogs."

I think that it's currently still available on Tubi. They've listed it as "leaving soon" a couple of times, but I guess it gets enough new viewers that they keep it around. (I originally saw it in a theatre and had no idea who Patrick Stewart was, because it was just pre-TNG.)

"Equilibrium" likely isn't as underrated, as it's relatively unknown. That's a shame because it's a great movie, with a good message.

Especially since there's talk of bringing it back and Sarah Michelle Gellar is apparently in.

I've been there for most of my life. OTOH I can remember where I left some minor thing that I'll never likely need again, 20 years later. This has been proven when someone has decided they actually need said thing, on multiple occasions.

Thanks. The worst part is that I'm heading 3 time zones to the east. Normally, 3:00am PDT would be more than an hour earlier than my usual 4:30am EDT leave time when I have to go on-site for work, but my acclimatization time to any time change is almost exactly 2 weeks. I've been in the Seattle...

Best superhero movie of all time? (Nominations thread)

I think the issue goes even deeper than that. Bruce Wayne is the alter ego of Batman, not the other way around, the same way that Superman/Kal El is the real identity of Clark Kent. For Batman, trauma made it that way.

In most of the versions that I'm aware of, Arkham is more about storage, than it is about any sort of healing. It's Victorian, if not outright Medieval.
