Did you watch the "Before the Dinosaurs" on Discovery a few weeks back? Has anyone converted the gorgonopsian mammal-like reptiles? 1 ton of saber-toothed goodness just waitin' for a PC to come wandering by.

Really, a Gorgosaur would just be a T.Rex with slightly fewer HD, I think. Mechanically, there'd be little difference.

Half my players hate AoO's with the heat of a thousand suns. The others love them like cake. There's no happy medium, really. I house ruled a small change to the mechanics that seems to have made both camps happy. I was on the verge of forbidding them just to keep the group together.

Too bad we live a zabillion miles apart. I'd love to get in a game in this setting!

True! I love his stuff. I think it's neat that Archeopteryx had a keel bone suited to sustained flight, too. Looks like it had the best of both worlds.

I agree. did you see the article about Archeopteryx feet? Looks like they were more terrestrial than perching animals, as they still have the land based theropod type foot, not suited to perching at all.... all those classic illustrations will have to be redone. :p
