Well, the emails do not seem to work at their website, but perhaps someone here who's purchased Legends of Sorcery and has experience with the system can help me out. I may have missed it, but how does the "spells per day" concept work using the LoS system? Surely spellcasters are not infinite...

How about stats for this bear dog species: Daphoenodon Low slung, slim, shorter legs and a long, almost catlike tail. I suck at statting animals, but in my upcoming campaign, they are the prized pets of kings and noblemen.

My group and I discussed a "create as you go" spell system, but the two guys who always play spellcasters both admitted that that would be bad, because they can't make up their minds with the spells and system found in the RAW.

Has anyone tried a skills based spell casting method; i.e. make a Spellcraft check of 10 or 15 plus spell level to successfully cast a spell? If so, how did it work out?

I give spellcasters metamagic "slots". They get a base number, a bonus for their primary casting score, and 1 every odd level afterwards. To use a Metamagic feat, the character must first have taken the feat as normal. If the feat reads "causes the 3rd level spell to be cast as though it were...

Probably not, unless it's really something. I've invested a LOT of money in 3.5 and so have my players. Unless there's a lot of compatibility, I don't see it happening.

I was thinking of doing the very thing, as in my next campaign there will be no crit confirmation rolls. A crit threat is an actual crit. "300" had a big impact on me, evidently.
