    Sexual Prowess... which skill ?

I'll say that it has to be a wisdom based skill.

About the myth or fact (?) of needing magical items

At LEAST one. There is no better feat to spend your fifth level bonus wizard feat on than Craft Wonderous Item. It makes almost every single magic item you'll ever want (especially if you're like me and have a predjudice against charged items). Sure, you'll have to buy a couple of rings, and a...

Law and Chaos - the predictable and not so predictable

Detect Alignment... noone uses it generally. However I do have certain types of things have an alignment... Deva's and Devils. Archons and Arch-fiends. Etc. Class restrictions? I generally ignore them. There are ways to get around that even in games where it's not ignored.

Law and Chaos - the predictable and not so predictable

I'm going to have to agree with Patryn. Sure, people will have different ideas about how such a bill should be drawn up, but differing alignments could certainly support such a thing.

Help: Evil DM sundered my wand :(

I really like THIS idea. Definitely get people to waste attacks attempting to sunder or disarm useless sticks!

    Monks Underpowered?

Look at how much those bracers cost and you'll find that you could really do better with that money spent on some other AC boosting item. Just FYI. Bracers of Armor are horribly overpriced.

    Reversing the effects of aging

The physical stats would go back up, the mental stats would stay the same. YES! There is RAW to back this opinion up. You wouldn't necessarily think that there was, because 3.X specifically removed rejuvenation spells and effects. They're deadset against old age and eventual death not being...

Help: Evil DM sundered my wand :(

Make your wands out of items that are already enhanced to +5. Ah HA! Instant savings.

Law and Chaos - the predictable and not so predictable

Law and Chaos. One thing I think is important when considering this axis is that Law is an aspect of Chaos. Chaos, in it's infinite complexity created Law. There are many different *types* of Law, many different rules-sets. This is a difficult concept to encompas if you're OF Law, because...

About the myth or fact (?) of needing magical items

There's a third level mage armor spell (In complete arcane I think) that gives +6 instead of +4. Same in every other way as the first level mage armor spell.

Help: Evil DM sundered my wand :(

Those are the stats for a typical wand. You'll note that nowhere does it describe what the size or shape or composition of a "wand" has to be. Someone already suggested using adamantine. A small sliver of that would be good. Perhaps I should say a "diminunative" sliver?

TV Show plot devices in D&D

Holy scare tactics GM-Man! Imagine that. A magical gangrene that generates it's own anti-magic field. You can treat it with poultices perhaps, some... but magic just won't affect it. Cleric: "You're lucky, we think we can amputate the affected area. If we can totally remove the area you won't...

TV Show plot devices in D&D

1 and 3 can both be replicated by the judicious use of poisons and powerful curses. Cursed wounds that don't respond to healing, and poisons that resist anti-poison spells. You can have the cleric heal the "poisoned" character, but his HP's will rapidly fall back down as death inevitably...

Hyp, could you please tell me where these quotes come from, exactly?

Unarmed, two-weapon, and natural attacks question.

You certainly can. With the right feats, races, and classes you could also get a natural slam attack, two levels of Dragon Disciple will give you a Bite/claw/claw... The two weapon fighting chain can give you an additional three attacks... But to get to Dragon Disiple (2) you'll have to give...

    Cursed Items Thread

Well, I can defend that with the definition of horizon, which is the point at which solid matter blocks your view as the world curves... But I take your point, and it follows well with the following question. And what if the world isn't round, for that matter? And what if you looked UP? I can...

    Improved Unarmed Strike + Grappling

Perfect! Play away, and don't worry about changing alignment, because you want that anyhow. I never done it myself, but I have seen it... once. And I will admit it completely startled me. I was all pepared to be very upset in a "Great, the main character in the group is a paladin", then I...

    Improved Unarmed Strike + Grappling

True. DM approval. What level are you starting at? If you're starting low enough you can just start as a monk and no approval needed. ^_^ But approval is always wanted anyhow.

    Cursed Items Thread

The sword gives the wielder a curse that strikes him blind. Only instead of instantly going blind they go blind over the course of a day. Actually, the original version I had of this made the character go blind over the course of a week, with the headache slowly going away as the eye's burned...

    Willingly Be Sneak Attacked

No. Not at all. ALthough I thought of this immediantly too! But as Infiniti2000 said, the two are specifically worded so that won't work. They neglected to specifically dissalow this particular occurance. I would still dissallow it.
