If you feel that the basic premise of the thread has no merit, why would you post in it at all?

Well, "threadcrapping" isn't generally heard anywhere because it's fairly limited to internet forums. Are you saying that the word "crap" offends you? Because I consider "crap" to fall in the same category as "darn" or "shoot."

I thought they were referring to Star Wars Celebration IV, which is a star wars convention run by GenCon.

I was just thinking that. As for the OP, as long as everyone in the group had fun, it doesn't really matter. But I wouldn't allow it rules-wise.

I think this price is way too steep, unless you're allowing the person to remove and stock-pile the valuable arrows.

As a side note (while I wait for you to answer Blackrat's question), have you considered instead having the Mettaline enhancement cast on your bow? It's a +2 enhancement, but you can shift the metal type as a standard action. I don't have my books in front of me to know if that's a valid...

I'm curious as to how many other groups the players of this game have had experience with. The "Whiny Player" and his friend seem to have experience playing in other groups, but nothing has been mentioned about the players that agree with the GM. I've found, in general, that more "worldly"...
