Why would it be too late if i was a 2nd level crusader already? it seems like the fast track to thicket of blades would be to simply level crusader directly to the proper initiator level. In this case 5th. Incidentally I am only 1st level.

Lets say I build a warblade1, crusader1, swordsage1 fighter17. Does this make my effective initiator level 10 and give me access to every single maneuver, boost and stance of every single discipline up to fifth level? That seems like a very compelling reason to take martial classes early on.
