Master Specialist (Complete Mage)

8th (close to 9th) level abjurer in a gestalt campaign has 77 spells in his blessed book (not counting cantrips). We get a lot of cash in this campaign, and the character has the Collegiate Wizard feat. The more spells the merrier! ps - Alacritous Cogitation is a good feat.

I used this as a player and, as a result, won't allow it in games I DM. Definitely borked.

That's a good point. I wonder if that was taken into consideration when making the feat, and that was their intention. Clarification would be nice.
