    Feat per level

I would not recommend a feat per level. I've done this for my latest campaign and am regretting it. I don't think a feat every two levels would be bad however. Powergamers eat this up. I thought they'd mix in some less optimized "flavor" feats, but it really didn't work that way. Also, you'll...

PrCs used in my latest campaign Radiant Servant of Pelor Incantatrix Master Specialist Inititiate of the Sevenfold Veil Ghost Faced Killer War Hulk Frenzied Berserker Warlord of Sif Abjurant Champion I won't ban anything outright, I'll "adjust" it a bit.

    Background (Flavor) Classes

Anyone have a copy of the old thread, I can't seem to find it searching. It was about 1 level background classes - real simple stuff like cook, farmer, etc. Any help locating this info would be greatly appreciated.

    [Complete Champion] Spontaneous Divination

exact wording - "You can spontaneously cast any spell of the divination school by sacrificing a prepared spell of equal or greater level. For example, if you suddenly have need of the 2nd lvl spell locate object, you can sacrifice a prepared 2nd lvl spell (such as mirror image) or any prepared...

    [Complete Champion] Spontaneous Divination

One of the wizard alternative class features is spontaneous divination. This feature replaces one of the wizard bonus feats and lets them sacrifice a prepared spell to cast any divination spell of equal or lower level. The feature doesn't specify the spell has to be in your spellbook, or even...

    The Most Powerful Item

I DM a high-powered gestalt campaign. The Dread Necromancer/Warlock character possesses the tome listed below. All the original characters had a special item like this, but this character is the only one of them left alive (well sort of). The items gain power as their possessor levels and...

More Spells/day Focused Specialist (CMage34, Wizard Alternate Class Feature) - lose one spell per spell level, but gain two additional spells from your specialty school each day (in addition to the one you normally get) - you have to pick another opposed school though. See if the DM will let...

Making a different kind of wizard

pick a small race: goblin, gnome, kobold, halfling would work well. always be riding a dog, wolf, whatever. max that ride skill and take a mounted feat or three. or you could go a stealthy route (might be nice coupled with a ranger or rogue level). like Dannyalcatraz said, pick little used...

    No Iterative Attacks in D&D

How would you handle the loss of combat options based on attacks, such as disarm, sunder, and trip? You're removing the ability to perform multiple of these in a round, or even one of them coupled with a regular attack. Granted, the character could still perform them, but that would be their...

How Many Spells Does Your Wizard Have In His Spellbook?

8th (close to 9th) level abjurer in a gestalt campaign has 77 spells in his blessed book (not counting cantrips). We get a lot of cash in this campaign, and the character has the Collegiate Wizard feat. The more spells the merrier! ps - Alacritous Cogitation is a good feat.

What are the 5 most powerful feats in the PHB?

    - Leadership (what a nightmare) - Power Attack (really needs a cap less than 20) - Natural Spell (as stated before.. druid wins) - Craft Wondrous Item (limit the flow of magic items in your campaign? I think not.) - Improved xxxx (+4 bonuses are wrong! and the ones giving no AoO gravy)...

Magic Disruption can kill highest level spells?

That's a good point. I wonder if that was taken into consideration when making the feat, and that was their intention. Clarification would be nice.
