A Product Showcasing Locations - With Stats or Without?

Critical Locations for d20 Modern has stats with their locations, but they are such a small portion of the product that I can use it for any system. My preferred system for modern games is GURPS, so I keep this with my GURPS books. Anyway, it doesn't hurt to have stats with it, as long as...

If you had to cut two core races from your game....

I voted Half-Elves and Half-Orcs. I agree that these could both be simulated with heritage feats. Plus, I don't think that Half-Orcs are really playable in most campaigns (Eberron is an exception to this, but Orcs are playable in that campaign world).

    Beggars can't be choosers but...

Do you want them sized for use with miniatures? I generally just draw out the maps on a battlemat, or use Dungeon Tiles for this.

    I HATE the term GISH

As a silent movie fan, I like Lillian Gish.

    Surprise Products

Cityscape -liked- Ready to use cities, city districts, NPC encounters (Throng of children, anyone?), guilds disliked -2 of the feats (city magic doesn't make a whole lot of sense, invisible spell metamagic feat doesn't alter the spell level?), Law section and City Government section a...

What Should My Next Campaign Be?

What Gaming Stuff Do You Plan/Want To Buy This Year?

I also plan on getting SpaceQuest when that comes out. I may get the Fiendish Codex I and II, but I haven't made up my mind yet. They both look very good, but I don't know whether I would use them.

What Gaming Stuff Do You Plan/Want To Buy This Year?

D20: Eberron Campaign Sourcebook (I gave mine as a christmas present to a friend) Dungeon Tiles sets 3 and higher (I already have 2 sets of each of the current ones) Dungeon Crawl Classics: The Sunless Garden, The Blackguard's Revenge, Assault on Stormbringer Castle Expedition to the...

    2006 WotC D&D Product Survivor - Round 11

I thought Secrets of Xen'drik was one of the best books WotC has put out in years.

So, what was the first product where D&D's soul was sold?

D&D's soul was devoured by Cthulhu in the first edition Deities and Demigods.

    2006 WotC D&D Product Survivor - Round 6

I don't have any use for the Fantastic Locations products.

    2006 WotC D&D Product Survivor - Round 3

I voted Races of the Dragon. I didn't really like any of the races books, and Races of the Dragon didn't do it for me either. The half-dragon was too powerful, the spellscale? was goofy looking, and the fluff didn't fit the mechanical benefits. And the kobold stuff... It's fine if some...

    City Survivor! - Round 2

Barovia isn't really a city, now is it?

    Monster Manual Humans?

Cityscape has a good list of human opponents. Guards, thieves, etc. They even have a mob of children. :)

    2006 WotC D&D Product Survivor

As much as I disliked Monster Manual IV, Complete Psionic was much less useful (and much less complete) than anything else on the list.

Core Religion Survivor - Round Nine

I vote Kord. And for the record, I like Moradin better than a lot of the other deities on the list.

Who is the coolest death god(dess)?

Grim. From The Grim and Evil Show, and The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.

Animated shields As a DM I would give them an animated shield that was afraid of combat. Imagine your shield cowering behind you everytime you got in a fight.

Should Ravenloft be a Low Magic Setting?

Maybe you could use the Midnight or Grim Tales rules for low magic Ravenloft.
