Magic Jar + Mage Armor (or any spell that affects the individual)

Reminds me of a trick used by a lich IMC on his less disposable minions - magic jar into the minion's body, cast contingency (teleport), perhaps a chain contingency and whatever other neat spells he has. Then he goes back to his own body and sends the minions off to fight the party. Gotta love...

Brain Far - Do magical arrows and bows stack their enhancement bonuses?

The way it works now, you'd be an idiot to even bother enchanting arrows, since you can either do 50 arrows or 1 bow for the same xp/gp cost. After the arrows are shot, they're done - the bow just keeps going forever.

Order of the Bow Initiate: Ranged Precision

I guess the problem I had was a result of Ranged Precision's wording (...make a single attack...); nowhere does it say it's just one arrow.

Order of the Bow Initiate: Ranged Precision

Actually, it says: "As a standard action, an initiate may make a single precisely aimed attack with a ranged weapon..." So this means that you can use the Manyshot feat in conjunction with this to get more lumber in the air, although the extra +xd8 only applies to one arrow. I also see no...

    Prismatic Walls

My favorite use of this spell was when the PC wizard cast a prismatic wall of his own across a cavern to divide the battle. The drow wizard then cast another of his own, right beside the first and parallel to it. There was a very surprised PC wizard when he tried to walk through his wall and...

    SR vs. Slaying Arrow

Right..."spell-like effect" isn't defined anywhere. Mostly because it isn't required. Spells are spells, spell-like abilities are spell-like abilities. Saying that "spell-like effects" means anything besides what the speaker wants it to mean is equally inane.

    SR vs. Slaying Arrow

Huh? But that's not the topic here. Granted, the RAW doesn't cover this, but I think the fact that the "slaying" bit is obviously magical rather than a poison or "the arrow automatically hits the target's head/heart, etc." thing, death ward can save you, and it's requisite spell (finger of...

    RPGxplorer

Oops, my bad. IMHO, a random NPC generator is of far more use than any of the so-called "chargens" anyways. Seriously, if a player could just read the darned manuals (which they or the DM should have anyways) and add a few single-digit numbers together, they'd have a character in half the...

The Ultimate RPG tabletop network tool

I'd like to see the capability to import maps (in .jpg or .bmp format), since I have used all sorts of computer mapping programs and have decided that handdrawn is the only way to fly. Go Luke!
