    if it is mimicking a spell, but does not list a casting time, then the DM needs to make a judgement call on whether the casting time is 1 standard action "unless otherwise stated" and isn't stated in the invocation description, or it must use the casting time of the spell it mimics.

    another easy fix to the OP is to have simply ruled that you can't use the tactical expertise affored to you by Robilar's Gambit (look up gambit, noun, in dictionary; requires intelligence) while raging or frenzying. Problem solved.

    I feel the DM ruled correctly in your instance, Green, since the ooze was invulnerable and unable to attack so too were it's victims not affected by it being even present or near them.
