[Rave] Happy with 3.5e core rulebooks.

They don't. It's already been stated that it was an omission.

Converting Rangers from 3.0 to 3.5

You forget that if you dump his INT, you don't just drop skill points, you cripple Search, among other skills. Besides which, wouldn't you want to dump con and raise int to simulate the HP loss and SP [i]gain[/g]? Of course then, you'd cripple his Fort save.

Converting Rangers from 3.0 to 3.5

I can see why you'd do this, but are you going to also let him keep the old abilities? How about retconning the skill points? You can't do one and not the others... :)

D&D 3.x [3.5] Help my bard contribute [Thanks guys!]

Yeah, I really haven't seen the new spell list yet either. I understand its MUCH more enchantment based. Which is prety cool if you ask me :) And WEAR THAT CHAIN SHIRT now that there's no ASF with it on. That was the first thing I houseruled when 3e came out :p

D&D 3.x [3.5] Help my bard contribute [Thanks guys!]

Heck yeah! I couldn't remember the exact wording for it so I didn't want to stick my foot in my mouth. That's a SIGNIGICANT increase in power for the bard.

D&D 3.x [3.5] Help my bard contribute [Thanks guys!]

Sing. Sing often. That +1 bonus stacks with Bless IIRC. Bards tend to not be quite so much help in non-urban settings, but they can still be quite valuable played well. At higher levels you'll be able to provide some GREAT support to the party. I'd almost recommend that you try to stay out of...

Converting Rangers from 3.0 to 3.5

Subtract 1 FULL HD (d10) from the 3e Ranger's total, then find the ratio of actual hp to possisble hp on the remaining HD. Then take the same number of HD on d8s, multiply the total possible by that percentage, add 8 and round up. Ignore CON bonus for this process, then add it after you're done...

    I need good Epic adventures/modules

As far as ELH-type stuff, don't look for any till the ELH goes into the SRD. Its been rumored, but noone really knows when its gonna happen. I think there are a few WotC addys that handle characters up to 20, but I don't know the names off hand. edit: Forgot about Necropolis. You might also...

    Campaign setting recommendations

This is what I generally do, though it's much, much easier to scale up instead of down. :D I'll pimp that. BEST.SCREEN.EVER.

    Campaign setting recommendations

The KoK campaign setting is simply awesome. The book itself has next to no crunch, and in nearly every City/Area description there are at least 10 adventure hooks you could easily write up. It has a GREAT section on the races, so you don't have to worry about developing them very much. The new...

[RPGA] Green Regent Site Now Up

Its up a day ahead of schedule. Nicely done, WotC. BTW, can anyone with some spare webspace post a non-zipped version of the file? I'm at work and don't have access to Winzip or its ilk.

    Dragonlance Already on E-Bay?!

I concur. If I sell the copy I paid for though (not gonna do it..luv the thing :p) that'd be a different story.

    Dragonlance Already on E-Bay?!

Anyone who was at Origins could have bought a copy, so no. Margarest Weis is also selling them via her website.

Problem - As a DM, What Would You Do?

This sounds like what I'd do too. Either that or kill him with a nasty trap that he's 'sure how to disarm/avoid.' Something like... "As you pick up the gem from the pedestal, two blocks from the wall shoot out and crush your head into so much pulpy goo!!!" Actually write some of that stuff...

    Drained, Slain...Undead?

I suppose it'd depend on exactly HOW bad it was. I wouldn't have the PC/NPC come back as undead unless the SDragon has something about undead in its description. (I don't think it does......) If it did, then I likely would have the PC/NPC come back as a shadow.

Any kind soul with the 3.5 conversion guide?

Its the new RPGA campaign that kicks off at GenCon. It's the "Living City Replacement." i guess its supposed to run for only 2 years, and then they're going to start a new campaign. Theres a little more info on the GreenRegent Yahoo Group.

    Drained, Slain...Undead?

If was the result of an undead attack, hell yes they come back as undead!! :D That, and they CAN'T be raised. No way, no how, at least short of a Miracle. Wish doesn't cut it for that kind of thing in my game. If its the result of something else, I'll allow them to come back with a Raise Dead...

Any kind soul with the 3.5 conversion guide?

I just looked through it, and there's nothing in there from the splats. :( I think those are still on the proverbial list. We *MAY* find out a little about it Friday when the Green Regent CharGen document gets released. http://oak.cats.ohiou.edu/~dm791396/files/3.5econversion.pdf if a mod...
