    D&D Beyond: Shadar-Kai

Demon or god, it makes little difference. Gods are basically one step above in power and the only thing that differentiates them is that the latter can grant powers. None of the D&D gods have any real dominion over anything except their own pocket dimension, similar to some more powerful demons...

Will D&D make strength matter again?

Rule that when using Strength non-light, non-heavy weapons, the damage increases by one die. Heavy weapons reroll 1s on damage.

Lolth has been a god since Deities & Demigods in 1980.

The Actual Table of Contents for Xanathar's Guide to Everything

It would be nice if WotC would do another balance release of the content from UA that isn't going to be in Xanathar's Guide. They should never have wasted space by putting reprinted SCAG content in it and instead added a few more subclasses that aren't being printed.

Xanathar's War Mage is Gandalf, Dr Strange, and Elric

Very disappointed that the Lore Master isn't making it into the book. I want to play a generalist, not a war mage. It's a lousy excuse that it's overpowered to not include it when every subclass needs balanced before it's put into the book.

D&D 5E (2014) Xanathar's Guide to Everything: What subclasses made the cut?

What I want to know is if they plan on printing the revised ranger in a reprint of the PHB. I don't care what they call it when they publish it online.

D&D 5E (2014) Kenku - Poorly thought out race no matter how cool

There are deaf and mute people who can read, but not speak. There are people that are highly intelligent that are unable to be eloquent or express themselves via speech even if they know all the words they should say. There are people who have a major neurological stutter that can sing...

    D&D 5E (2014) Xanathar's Guide to Everything -- new mechanical expansion/UA book! -- November 10 with a limited-edition cover by Hydro74

If they want the subclasses in the SCAG they can buy the SCAG like everyone else. If the writers thought they didn't want to deprive people who don't play games in Faerun the subclasses that aren't firmly rooted in Forgotten Realms, maybe they should have thought of that before putting such...

    D&D 5E (2014) Xanathar's Guide to Everything -- new mechanical expansion/UA book! -- November 10 with a limited-edition cover by Hydro74

In the course of three years, that's very little crunch. To reprint stuff when they are releasing a single crunch book in three years is just ridiculous. I did actually buy the SCAG for the little bit of crunch that was in there, the rest of the book is useless to me. Why is precious space being...

Unearthed Arcana June Unearthed Arcana: Druid Shepherd, Fighter Cavalier, and Paladin of Conquest

It doesn't resemble it at all. The name is different, most of its power and where it derives its power from are completely different. It isn't the same subclass, no matter what they say in the PDF.

I really wish the 45 sub-classes would be included in the book and there was a hardcover option.

A Few More Tidbits About D&D Beyond From The Developer

The problem I have with these various digital tools is that they charge full book price for the content. It's digital, the cost should reflect that. Plus, you should be allowed to add your own content so that people who already own the books can just add it.

    D&D 5E (2014) Any Rogue/Warlock ideas?

My current plan is a human (variant) Rogue Swashbuckler multiclassed into a Warlock. I haven't decided if it should be a bladelock or a tomelock. I also haven't decided on a patron.

Urban Horror In A Corrupt City: A Setting & Adventure Path for 5E, Pathfinder, and S&W

Usually I just pass over campaign settings people write because they are all very generic in their attempt to be somehow different. This one actually caught my attention. I certainly would like to know more about the world. Not sure $150 is something I would want to spend on a single book though.

Hero Lab Character Creator Is Coming To 5E Very Soon!

Call me skeptical, but if I was designing a program, I would make it very easy to input data so as not to need a whole lot of coding to add a new system or content. It already costs $30 for the program.
