    Favorite Places to Eat

Wow, I want to live there! I don't go out to eat that much, but when we do it's either a local "gastropub" or on special occasions The Harvester. But neither have a specific theme like your places did.

In the UK, basically the same system is run, except where the schools tend to be split up. 5-10 (years old) is primary school, then secondary school is 10-16, 16-18 is college (a separate organization) or a 'Sixth Form' which is part of a secondary school. At 14 years old you start GCSE (before...

I don't eat enough bottom feeders....I live within 5 minutes walk of the sea though! Fish sometimes, but shrimp/crab hardly ever and lobster never.

    Computer Problem Fixed! Thanks!

That's really weird. Never heard of that...The only thing I can think of is a loose cable inside, but that doesn't really make sense.

Ahh, I thought there would be more englishers... Right, A levels are the last level of qualification before uni (along with various other awards and stuff like Btecs etc  ). There are two years of study from age 16-18, and they're all subjects rather than vocational. I hope that...

    Protecting folders?

Not only is is PCWorld it's also a refurb. if I moved my files to the NTFS then the Fat one would be empty, leaving 80 gigs unused. Seems a bit pointless. Then again security isn't a huge issue. Thanks guys!

For anyone (I'm not sure how many) who has just gotten their results, how did it go? I'm into my firm choice, Bath, who wanted three As, with only an A and three Bs! *Does a dance* Anyone else?

    Fallout: worth picking up?

I've never gone to those forums, I think the ones at Duck and Cover are better, but I have no recollection of what the site address for that is! Anyone know which patch I should get? I tried the 1.05 Eng one and it just crashed. :\

I know that Fat32 is an older type of file storage, but what I wanted to know was why is one partition in Fat32 and one in NTFS?

My Facebook Exploded. Edit: False alarm.

Edit: False Alarm, I'm leaving this up unless someone wants to a) muse about what happened or b) see why this thread is locked (if it is) My facebook has thrown a wobbly. It started off by asking for my age and telling me I didn't have any newsfeed for me. I logged out hoping a refresh like...

    Protecting folders?

That's how it came from PCWorld, it's a refurbished laptop. And I've just gotten the laptop comfy and how I like it! Ok, something strange I just found out, only one of the partitions is fat32. What does that mean? I'm guessing it wouldn't be that easy to add to or watch stuff without...

    Lobster Fascination*

You need to cook them from cold water hot, because apparently if you shock them they defecate themselves. That's what I heard. I also had someone come up to the deli counter (where I work) and their kid said, non stop for about 2-3 minutes whilst they were served "I want real ham...
