D&D 5E (2014) What do you want in a Dark Sun book (sans psionics)?

The Thri-Kreen in the monster manual look pretty buggy, at least to me, so you should be good there. Although if they looked like Jeff Goldblum at the end of The Fly I wouldn't complain.

Unearthed Arcana Why UA Psionics are never going to work in 5e.

It's almost like the default rules for multiclassing are poorly thought out and should be ignored. I should get off my soapbox.

Unearthed Arcana Why UA Psionics are never going to work in 5e.

multiclassing is also an optional rule.

Which kinda proves I've seen before. people want psionics to be different and special, in multiple ways.

That and where the hell is psionics in this discussion.

Why don't you prove it mr. expert fencer? Go get into a fight with Longswords. they're basically the same, right?

D&D General Hey, are we all cool with having to buy the same book twice, or what?

It's quite simple, actually. you take responsibility for your actions.

Within phemtoseconds that PDF will be on torrent sites and other such things.

And that's when your brain is primed and ready to learn things.

Unearthed Arcana Why UA Psionics are never going to work in 5e.

Does it though? Have you learned a weapon based martial art, much less ones based on all the weapons in the PHB?

D&D General Why are spells grouped into "levels"?

Didn't they have something like that in 1e, where each level of a class had a different title? Come to think of it, I Think someone made one of those for 5e. Here, with subclasses up to XGtE, plus bonus Mystic if you use that.

Unearthed Arcana Why UA Psionics are never going to work in 5e.

So weapon proficiencies are worthless and only fighting style should be a thing, going by this one sentence in a description of a single class, am I getting that right?

So your words mean literally nothing, thanks for admitting that.

I'm just acting how you expect me to, because you refuse to accept anything else.

Unearthed Arcana Why UA Psionics are never going to work in 5e.

It's almost like people with class levels are rare and PC's are supposed to be exceptional or something...
  17. FlyingChihuahua

Unearthed Arcana Why UA Psionics are never going to work in 5e.

Proficiency in all weapons would imply this, I would think.

Unearthed Arcana Why UA Psionics are never going to work in 5e.

You could, but that would be homebrew, and we need things to be objective and logical in this elf game.
