    Iconic Characters -Stats?

Back in the days when them wacky iconic posters were crawling all over the boards, the poster "Regdar" kept a website with lotsa iconic info, including stats for all of them at several different levels. Don't know if the site is still around though.

    Dungeon #115 is here

I'm eager to read Wolfgang Baur's adventure (esteemed author of the the "enworld-famous" classic, Kingdom of the Ghouls  ) (Sure would love to have a 4th adventure in lieu of all the Dragon-like columns and workbook articles, but oh well, they can't please everyone :D )

Why can't clerics cast "Identify" and "Analyse Dweomer"?

Good question. I don't see any problem with adding Identify to the cleric list (though I probably wouldn't myself because I usually prefer to stick with the sacred cows, even though this isn't all that sacred). To maintain the flavor and stay closer to the existing rules, perhaps you could...

WotC boards ... problem? (Merged with WotC taken over by Avalon Hill)

Maybe it was a temporary fluke, it appears to be fixed now. Expect more funkiness from now through the end of the month, since they're monkeying around and working on the software upgrade for 3.0

WotC boards ... problem? (Merged with WotC taken over by Avalon Hill)

WOTC forums taken over by Avalon Hill There are some problems with the links to wizards.com forums. Alll the old forum url links, even from the main D&D site, are currently pointing to Avalon Hill forums. All the various D&D forums can still be found at this updated url: WOTC Boards

Help me convince my players that the Cleric is cool

Sounds like the players aren't thrilled with playing a cleric. So instead of hyping up the cleric, I would let them play without one. As a DM, I then go back to the drawing board and work with it. Just like the players are challenged by the DM's choice of encounters and plots, it's the DM's...

    The 4400: Mini-Series Finalé Episode

The 4400: Mini-Series Finalé Episode An unusual end to an unusual miniseries, nice little plot-twist in the last 10 minutes. It wasn't a very satisfying conclusion though, considering that we really didn't get much resolution from the series. Instead, "a whole new can of worms" has been...

    Dragon #323 came in today.

Is there alot of space devoted to all that stuff for "Class Acts"? Each of those 11 sections sounds like they could (should?) be fleshed out into multi-page features.

Is there a word for this?

Straw man is close, but I can see how it's not quite a perfect fit, since it seems alot like "deliberate misinterpretation". The Red Herring fallacy is very close too. Not quite the same, since this is more about "getting off-track", but it serves the same purpose. Attacking the details of...

    Vampire The Masquerade D20?

Lord of the Night: Vampires by Bottled Imp Games is an amazing d20 product. I picked it up to add some spice to a vampire opponent for a D&D game, and found a treasure. Check out some of the reviews (it has a perfect 5 star rating) for more details about the contents (too much to post here).

    The DM's Screen

I never used the charts on DM screens anyway, I just use screens to obscure my maps and notes. Most of the retail screens are too flimsy for me anyway (the slightest touch always seemed to send them crashing). The screen I use the most is a hand-constructed one, made of 6 blank cardboard...
