No, it is described as being in the monster series (Draco, Lords of Madness, Libris Mortis, FC I, FC II). I hope it is done right. I love that series.

Cambions were male half-demons in 1e, while alu-fiends were female half-demons. Both had their own stats. In 3e, I just use the half-fiend template for both. Cambions were ridiculously (sp?) powerful compared to alu-fiends, the marquis cambion moreso than the common cambion.

I use all of them in my home brew world. It just depends on where in the world you are from (or are) as to which will be seen more often. For example, in some areas, standard magic is uncommon.

If you use a Windows based computer with Excel (not OpenOfiice), then you could use the fan supported Heroforge. If you use Apple OS, then Heroforge won't work very well. Microsoft and Apple are not playing well with each other, you know. :)

I changed them to tattoos that rise up from within to the surface of their skin. The power sigils have a faint glow (no light!) that can be suppressed if needed. The whole "Eat at Joe's" imagery was a deal breaker for my players.

They have some interesting rules. The biggest problem is that they have (as written) these glowing symbols floating around their heads. If you change those to something else like I did, they are a pretty good race.

Based on the fact that a warforged can have it's armor plating (whatever its called) enchanted as if it was normal armor, I would have to say that armor augment crystals are legal.

Heroes of Battle doesn't have rules for the type of mass combat that you are looking for. HoB focuses on the party like in war movies like Saving Private Ryan. A good system, imho, but not what you are asking for. The Miniatures Handbook doesn't really do mass combat well. It has a squad level...

Based on the chart in the back of the Races of the Wild book, mithril does. I am not sure about twilight. In Races of Stone, the write-up for mountain plate specifies that mithril only changes the weight (in pounds), not anything else. Mountain plate is always heavy armor, no matter what.

Well, now I see the problem. Chain shirt + size Large = ouch! If you were to get breastplate armor you wouldn't have that problem.
