I really hope they alternate between big stories, smaller adventures, and campaign settings, but it doesn't look hopeful. It seems to me that's the best way to keep fans of multiple styles of D&D happy, rather than focusing solely on Realms-flavored monolithic-campaign-style D&D.

Good for those who use a virtual tabletop, but it's pretty useless to me. I was hoping for a tablet app to use around a physical table, similar to what Dungeonscape/Morningstar was supposed to be.

I wish we had some concrete information about when and how settings will be released. I would love to see the campaign settings released as boxed sets. They could have maps and other handouts, and evergreen, system-neutral setting books. The system specific information (races, classes, feats...

I'm pleased to hear there is actually some guidance for converting the adventure to other settings. I'm particularly interested in how the story fits into Eberron and Dark Sun. Any chance we can hear how long/detailed the conversion section is? Hopefully more than a paragraph or two.

I've never been interested in Pathfinder, but my group complains a lot about the lack of character options in 5e.... Maybe this book will allow me to cobble together a version we could all enjoy. Or at least give me some ideas I can steal.

I'm pretty disappointed there aren't any feats (other than the gnome one) or sub-class options. I was really hoping we'd see an elemental cleric and warlock build. If this is all the content they had in mind, I can see why this never went to print. I guess I can't complain too much, it was free...

All good points. To me (and especially my players) #3 is the biggest detractor from this edition.

I was in the iOS beta, and I can say it was significantly better than the web beta. I can't say for sure if it would have lived up to the promise, as the DM tools weren't ready yet, but I had high praise for what was implemented. That said, I won't be backing it because I don't play...

Too bad... I really liked Morningstar/Dungeonscape, but a Pathfinder app is slightly less useful to me than an extra nostril...on my taint.

It's very curious that (presumably) WotC would request no more questions get answered. This sort of thing generates interest. I wonder if they thought the speculations and heated side discussions would have some negative impact on perceptions of the final product... if so, I guess they don't...

Lucky dog! What can you spill about Downtime? How about using Treasure tables (as in how do you decide what to roll on for the various creatures)?

Biggest like: Fast combats. Biggest dislike: Tough one, I'll have to go with Monster stablocks are not easy to use at the table (though gargantuan-headed halflings was a close second... seriously, where is their racial ability that allows them to not topple over?)
