    Is this legal?

The true RBDM response is to let him make the item at the discount, then rule that his actions have shifted his alignment. :]

UMD, scrolls and low caster level

I was about to write that that's how it does work. Then I checked the text ... I'd sworn I'd read rules exactly like that somewhere, and even in one of the core rulebooks, but it took me a bit to figure out where it was. In the Use Magic Device skill description in the 3.0 PH. Given that they...

    D&D 4E 4E - The Latest Herold

Wow! I didn't know that! I guess you learn something new every day ...

    Spring Attack with two weaps

Unless something in the feat specifically says otherwise, making more than one attack requires a full attack action with at most a 5' step.

    Artificed scrolls

This is in the FAQ. So you didn't necessarily imagine it.

Why You Don't Let the Sage Answer Psionics Questions

Skip, I'd imagine ... I'm pretty sure he held that title through the entire reign of AD&D 2nd Ed.

Help Me Price This Item: Sack of Monkeys

Which, of course, leaves the DM free to decide that it's the same monkey each time. :] "Tonto, I want you to go into town, and ..." "#@*)(&$ you, Kemo Sabe."

Does Blindsight see through Hide in Plain Sight (Su)?

I dunno. What is it like to be a bat?

Getting a full set is unreasonable

Um ... Because the sets are random? I think this is to be expected. I could calculate the expectation if I knew how many minis are in a full set and how many boxes are in a case. Basic statistics ... But it's theoretically possible to buy any number of boxes (as long as the number is small...

    AOO for movement

No--a creature only provokes one attack of opportunity for its movement, no matter how many threatened squares it moves through. See PHB 3.5 pp. 137-138, under Combat Reflexes and Additional Attacks of Opportunity.

Two swift actions in one round

Although, now that I think about it, the fix that was under discussion at the top of the thread fits OK into this sort of system. 6 action points available per round. Free action: 0 for the first, 0 or 1 (DM call) after Swift action: 1 for the first, 3 for the second Move action: 2 for the...

Two swift actions in one round

The trouble with doing something like that is, some pimped-out wizard will start tossing five quickened spells in a round. :uhoh:

Races of Stone - Earth Dreamer: Errata?

No errata has been published for Races of Stone, and there's no mention of this prestige class in the FAQ as of yet. That said, I can tell you that the reason there's a duration listed is that the ability requires a standard action to activate, so it can't be used absolutely continuously...

Two swift actions in one round

Yeah, RAW gives only one swift/immediate action per round, but there shouldn't be any balance issues to allowing someone to spend a standard action to use one. (Not a move action, though--that way lies madness!)

Feat chains that make Run and Endurance worthwhile?

Peregrine Runner (Races of Stone) requires both Endurance and Run. And you have to be a Goliath. So it probably won't come up much ...

    How Shadowy is Shadowy Illumination?

You should roll a Hide check for the wall, and anyone in the party whose Spot check exceeds that Hide check can see it.

    Gleemax UGT Final 50?

;) Nope, you would have had a nasty shock when you sat down to take the test with your cheat-sheet ... and found a totally different set of questions. Or mostly different, at least. The test was thirty questions long, but the precise questions were chosen at test-time from a much larger pool...

    Darkvision and mirrors?

No kidding. Yes, in the real world, mirrors work by reflecting light across the normal to the tangent plane of the reflecting surface. Also, eyes work by refracting light through the lens and absorbing it on the retina; so, when you're the subject of an Invisibility spell, you're blind!. :eek...

    Deflect Arrows Feat (Modified)

I think it's pretty clear that it's requiring that the character has, on some past round, used the 'ready a shield' move-equivalent action ...
