    Favorite D&D Class?

    1E: Ranger/Cleric, Paladin 2E: Fighter/Thief (Wayfinder kit) 3E: Dervish (Fighter/Barbarian) 4e: Swordmage, Warlord, Battle Cleric (STR-based), Bard (Prescient)

D&D 4E What I miss about 4e (my preferences of course)

That's been my issue with Next also. I like the concept of melee characters wading in to the thick of battle and actually controlling what goes on around them and having effects other than just damage. The 4E Fighter/Swordmage/Paladin/Warden/Battlemind/Warlord were finally classes with the types...

    Sleepy Hollow

Now that we're a few weeks in and things are settling in to a groove I'm digging it.

D&D 5E (2014) The Monk - What is the monk to you and why?

There will never be an "Evergreen" edition as long as core books are the big sellers.

Where to find a nerdy girl?

NEVER date co-workers. It's a recipe for disaster. When you break up you're lucky if it's merely uncomfortable and not "one of you has to go". And even on the remote chance it goes so well you get an opportunity to live "happily ever after" when they sale or layoffs hit suddenly the entire...

D&D 4E Forked: "Math and Grind" or "Why Rechan is Right" (From: "4e One-trick ponies")

Hitting more often means more damage, sure, but the biggest contributors to "grind" are: 1: Players not paying attention or not being decisive. 2. Lack of ointeresting terrain/features. For #1, this is the biggest drag on the game ever. In combat, 4E expects you to actually pay attention at...

D&D 5E (2014) The Monk - What is the monk to you and why?

An unarmored psionic warrior. In "classic" fantasy, they're guys in robes who are fighters who call on inner reserves of strength and power to do great feats. Many are unarmed, but they are often also portrayed as proficient with many different types of weapons.

Sons of Gallifrey (from the people that brought you a Tardis in Orbit)

This has about as much chance of being optioned as William Hung being cast as the lead in a Broadway production of Phantom of the Opera.

    Legends & Lore: Clas Groups

So they're more learned in magic than Wizards? Experts is a moronic name, that's more for things like sages and the like because each class would be the "experts" in their fields over the "rogue-ish". Trickster is merely horrible, it doesn't claim/imply superior knowledge over more actually...

    Legends & Lore: Clas Groups

. "Experts" is an even dumber name. Wizards are kind of "experts" at their chosen craft, no? And Fighters would be rather more learned in a larger group of weapons, and........

Pathfinder 1E Does pathfinder strike anyone as too gamey?

You make some good points Campbell. There are a lot of people who wants more interesting "martial" characters. There are also a lot of people who want casters to be "superior" to the "mundanes" in that regard. Finding the middle ground is difficult since the variations are so widespread along...

I have more than that alone, and you're wrong. Thanks for playing.

    Have you felt love?

    Meh.

    Have you felt love?

Yeah, a few times, and I'm not sure "ended" is the right term. "Faded/shifted" is probably the better description as I think there's still "love" there, just not enough to make life decisions about. I'd still go to lunch with all of them and hope they're doing well, for example.

Bogus. ;) The first two were utterly inane yet still had a certain charm that made them fun. Replicating that will be rather.....difficult.

One Early RoboCop Reaction Calls The Remake Better Than The Original

Breaking Bad and Behind the Candleabra were "safe" choices? For all the LCD drek out there those two are rather poor examples of "safe" choices.

Where to find a nerdy girl?

And be one of the 17000 dweebs that are hitting on them while they're already in defensive mode. You want to find a female for romantic relations? 1. Take a shower, shave, and go do things socially. There are singles clubs in every even semi-major population center, some of them free. 2...
