    Electronic Aids for Gaming Table

I wish you'd saved them too, since I have no recollection about what you're saying. When someone asks me a question about any of my utilities, I do what I can to help them out, regardless of whether they're a novice or an experienced computer person. I may direct them elsewhere if they're asking...

    Electronic Aids for Gaming Table

Are you the gentleman that was looking to add a "Feats" category to Sage? If so, I would like to address your above statements. If not, I'm curious as to what I may have said to elicit this sort of statement, as I generally try to do my best to help out people who contact me, without expressing...

    Electronic Aids for Gaming Table

Thanks :) I guess I should post that on the Web site; I have the registration information listed in the help files, under "Legal Information", which isn't the most intuitive place to look. In any case, registration is $5.

    BLOOD & SPACE problems

IIRC, a couple of things I've bought and downloaded had the extension PHP, though they were actually ZIP files. I changed the extension from .PHP to .ZIP, and they opened up fine.

    Making your own Palm programs

I've looked at Palm programming, and these are a few of the tools I've tested: NSBasic: http://www.nsbasic.com/ - Stand-alone VB-like development tool AppForge: http://www.appforge.com/ - Add-in for VB6; use VB to create Palm Apps SmallBasic: http://smallbasic.sourceforge.net/ - Freeware...

Looking for a new die roller for my Palm

DicePro will show you individual rolls, and I believe it works with Shadowrun and WW (the docs indicate that, but I don't play those games so I can't say for certain). http://www.rivalgamelabs.com/

    Campaign Sage Updated

I've uploaded Campaign Sage 3.3 to my website. The standard pages haven't changed, but I've modified the "Express" page. Instead of having to specify a category (Monsters, Spells, or Charts), you simply type what you are looking for and the Express page will figure out what to display, like it...

    Spring/Summer D&D Drought? 3.5 Publisher Reaction?

Actually, it looks like they are: http://www.gamingreport.com/article.php?sid=7087&mode=&order=0 Though it looks like you're out of luck if you're only publishing PDFs...

    Clone CD?

I've tried a couple of these, one is: http://www.virtualcd-online.com/ I can't recall the other product, but it pretty much worked the same way.

    [TableSmith] Magic Shop Inventory Generator

There was a problem with one of the installation files for 4.03 (it lacked the proper paths for where the various files were supposed to go), but it should have been corrected by now. The version currently available on my site should be fixed.

    HORIZONS -mmporpg- Homepage?

A Google search on "Artifact Entertainment" brough this up as the first entry: http://www.artifact-entertainment.com/ Though they haven't had an update since last May.

    [TableSmith] Magic Shop Inventory Generator

I've posted a new TS table to the gallery on my Web site for generating the inventory for a magic shop. If you have shops in your campaign where adventurers can buy and sell magic items (my preference is to make them fairly rare, but I do have a few in my world), you can use this table to...

    Microsoft Buying Vivendi (Blizzard)?!?!?!

One thing to consider is that consoles may be more attractive to developers, since they know that they are dealing with "known" hardware. One guy's PS2 or XBox is going to be the same as someone else's, whereas with PCs you have different OS's, video cards, sound cards, controllers, etc...

    Microsoft Buying Vivendi (Blizzard)?!?!?!

I see a potential for social interaction more with a console, since you can have multiple people playing easily at the same time in the same place. PCs pretty much restrict you to one player, and "social interaction" in most on-line games tends to equate to being attacked and berated by 13-year...

I may not be switching to D&D 3.5 (Crossposted)

I don't recall WotC officially calling it "3.5", or anything other than "revised". The on-line community is the only place I've seen that label. Personally, I'd reserve judgement before giving it any "version number", particularly if the majority of changes are simply clarifications to existing...

    TableSmith 4.03 Available

TableSmith 4.03 is now available from Mythosa.net. It's a minor update, with the following features: - A loaded XML file will refresh with click of "Reload" button, as tables do - Added "Break" feature which allows you to interrupt a table generation (there actually was already a menu option...

    PDAs at the Game Table

In my experience, I've found that I prefer PalmOS. My first PDA was a Compaq Aero running Windows CE 2.1 (or 2.2? Whatever came right before "PocketPC", which was WinCE 3.0). I eventually switched over to a Handspring Visor. While the color on the Aero was nice, it was a bit heavier and...

Tome of Horrors: Monsters by Type?

Is there a list somewhere for Tome of Horrors listing the monsters by type/subtype? I know there's the list of monsters by CR, but I'm looking for something that lists them by "Aberration", "Construct", "Giant", etc., like in the front of the MM and MM2. I can't find anything in the book, nor on...

    PDAs at the Game Table

Just a poll to see what type is more common among you folks, if any (and thus whether the things I'm contemplating are worth doing). I realize that PalmOS has a bigger market share, but I'm more concerned about the gamer demographic (er...specifically the gamers who come to ENWorld and read this...
