    Low Fantasy RPG?

:D I used to love WFRP 2e, I always wanted to DM the epic trilogy (I forgot it's name), but never got around it.

    Low Fantasy RPG?

From the description you've provided it definitely sounds like it. Thank you. I know I was intrigued by Burning wheel when it first came out (I believe it was a pdf at first), I bought it and was really excited, but my gaming group wanted to play something else instead, so I never actually got...

    Low Fantasy RPG?

Thank you! I know Iron Heroes and I had a (very) brief encounter with "The Burning Wheel" but the rest I know only from hearsay. I don't even know what Torchbearer is. I have to dig these out too, thank you. :)

    Low Fantasy RPG?

I have known Iron kingdoms (I'm a Monte Cook and Mike Mearls fan), but "Steampunkish" fantasy isn't my style. But Shadows of Esteren looks to be amazing. Thank you for the suggestion! :) How come I've never heard of it. Well, I guess I'm not reading the right blogs.

    Low Fantasy RPG?

Yeah, I had the same thought, I will probably harvest it for goodies. :D

    Low Fantasy RPG?

Yeah I should have specified what I mean under Low Fantasy, I'm not meaning a dark world (like Howard or Glen Cook or whatever), but something semi-realistic. PCs can't fly, or/and don't have demigod abilities like in Dragonball, but rather are like "normal" humans, in a fantasy setting (for...

    Low Fantasy RPG?

I have just realised that "...and a 10 foot pole" is part of the Rolemaster bookline, I really love that book (I'm surprised I've forgotten that it's a rolemaster book) I think I've found my new game system. Thank you very much guys.

    Low Fantasy RPG?

Thank you! Yeah I'm familiarizing myself with DSA right now (although I've heard they are going to publish a 5e for that too). Rolemaster... I definitely need to check that one out. :)

    Low Fantasy RPG?

Thank you very much for your answers! Greatly appreciated. :) So much stuff I have to check out. I come from an old school RPG background, I used to play AD&D, Ars Magica, Call of Cthullhu, Pendragon, Warhammer Fantasy (a little bit of Hackmaster) etc. We've created a very rules heavy AD&D...

    Low Fantasy RPG?

Now that I saw the "sneak peak" of D&D5 I decidedly that I have to move on. My gaming world works just fine, but I could use a new rules system, I was using an AD&D Homebrew so far. I am looking for a low fantasy rule system, anyone can point me to a good one?

Ratmen in the Sewers adventure ideas

I think the kids would like some Ratmen as enemies. Take for example: http://narnia.wikia.com/wiki/Reepicheep he is a giant "Mouseman" and he is still cute. Ratatouille the same, Splinter from TMNT. (I have never heard of Rats of NIHM before, it seems to be an interesting story, thanks).

Ratmen in the Sewers adventure ideas

I would like to tell a "Ratmen in the Sewers" adventure, creating traps, preparing monster stats etc isn't a big thing, but I would like to add some interesting story elements. Like Grandma Ratmen, who is the leader of the Ratman colony in the sewers, and who hates violance. Or the...

    Looking for other forums

I did, and I didn't find anything, that was the reason I asked for another forum.

    Looking for other forums

Ok. One more question, is there anything even similar (a thread about creating adventures) there?

So I should just create a thread here?

    Looking for other forums

I'm looking for other RPG forums. I would like to write D&D adventures for 5e (until it's not published generic D&D 1-2 rules). Is there a forum/community who would criticize and/or comment on the unfolding/developing adventure?

    Thematic organisation of Monsters?

One of my houserules is: There are no doppelgangers, shapeshifters, werewolves, potions of polyjuice etc. What you see is what you get, except if it is an Illusion or a Mental Projection or a Psychic suggestion. ;) But your Bullywug idea is really nice. I have never used bullywugs before, you...
