    PrC Critiquing.

I personally would dissallow totally homebrew classes made by my own players, but I might be willing to look into any published works, even Dragon. As for LG Human Fighter....I dont KNOW who would want to play LG Human Fighter either, but thats just my opinion. I dont know what it is...

    Dealing with overly cautious players!

To be fair though, you can keep detect magic up for a while. IMC we allowed unlimited cantrips after a certain level. Just let them keep it up (while they are able or willing) and promise to let them know if they see anything. Likewise with trapfinding, let them say they are searching for traps...

    Dealing with overly cautious players!

Yeah but how did things get this way? Did something happen recently or in their pasts? Players can get this way if they were under the habit of gaming under a killer DM.

Years after completely ditching the system, WotC makes their move!

Who KNOWS? But I tell ya, there are still maaaany little nooks on the interwebs, including rapidshare, filestube and too many other places as well as the d20srd. The net is vast and infinite. *zing*! Duh Duh Duh-another one bites the dust...

    Spell Components & Design

Some spells may require Material, Somatic, or Verbal components. Everything has at least 1 of those three and some require a Focus as well. But what determines this? What I'm interested in, is how the devs decided what spells should have what components. Why were some made verbal only? Or only...

"Railroading" is just a pejorative term for...

Dungeon Mapping Take a look at that, one of the things that makes an adventure interesting is how much choice you have. A dungeon can have all the friggin twists in the world, but its "decision map" what the above is really all about, can effectively be linear. Some would call that railroady...

Well ONE way to do it, is between games or during down time 'actions' ROLL any fights between NPCs to see what side kills the other or how injurred someone is in an assassination attempt, JUST so even you (the DM) didnt know in advance how it would turn out. You could just HAVE bandits attack a...

What to do in this situation

This. If they are bandits, I'd help myself to the bandits on person loot and to whatever the guards had on their person (I call that a Life Boon). If they're revolutionaries, I'd help them with the soldiers...and extract my 'fee' from them too. And the fire? Well its just fun playing with...

Getting Wishes out of a Genie

The only SAFE way to make a wish is to NEVER wish for anything GOOD for YOURSELF or others. Only wish for HORRI-BAD things for other people, that way you are completely removed from the wish. If you wish bad things for people YET to be your enemies or who dont know about you, chances are, you...

The big boss guy runs away, how do I make this not feel like cheating?

What I never understood is with ressurection magic and loyal followers-why wouldnt any BBEG be True Rez'd if need be? Barring resources if you have allies, its hard to keep someone dead, unless you Barghest's Feast them, Sphere of Anihilation Them, or make them into an undead and then Imprison them.

I know someones mentioned that the king example is probably beat to death, but I just read something today I wanted to bring up. I recall someone mentioning that for trying to pickpocket the king was worthy of "execution at least, historically". I'm not too sure about historical cases of being...

Techniques for running a predominately urban campaign

Bah! I think its technically easier in Call/Trail of Cthulhu on account of the fact that authorities would never believe you anyway. But DnD? No REAL adventurer involves the cops. Who needs authority? :] You can always make the authorities too weak an inept to deal with the matter too.

Dungeon Tiles Master Set The Wilderness includes DT4 Ruins of the Wild

AAAAW MAAAAN! They're reprinting all these? I mean I'm happy, but at the same time I already bought the original-and yet they have new content. I dont really need more of the old stuff, but I dont know if its incentive enough to buy it just for the new sheets.

Face Fault - Television Tropes & Idioms There are more. Now that's my kind of king. Heh, could probably do it with a high enough bluff check to play it off as a joke or as if you were really doing something else.

    Werewolf Teeth Question

ON THE BACK! :D Thats either a hilarious joke, or a GREAT idea-from which 'hilarity' will ensue. Werewolf ubermensch...'protecting' the world from 'evil' and sewing the seeds of what will become most fit and most ancient bloodlines. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MXfKV3ogWs
