I would certainly say so! I've had a blast with DnD and Shadowrun over Internet-the best was probably Call of Cthulhu when the game moved to SKYPE.

Speaking of huge models, the huge Orcus was like $75-85. And its just a plastic statue-its non posable in any fashion and mounted on a big fat base. From what I have seen, cool as it is-I wouldnt pay that much for it. The gargantuan black dragon is like $99 and Collosal red $300? Rediculous.

KnightErrantJR This is why I prefer IRC or SKYPE for a PbP experience. Unlike traditional forum based PbP its slower than at-table play, and yet its not glacially slow.

The problem with artefacts is...does everyone get one? I mean there probably wont be that many artefacts in a campaign-so who gets to use it? If its something like a sword or a weapon, only one person will get to use the "awesome-sauce" artefact, if its mechanically beneficial.

It depends. Some people may be "friends" you ONLY know from work, but otherwise you never talk to them outside of that environment. You may have "friends" you play basketball with, but you dont know them outside of the activity. When the activity or job ends, you may never keep up with them...
