One of my current ideas is to have the Aboleth cast veil on some of it's Skum guards to disguise them as the PCs. Fighting things that look exactly like you is a classic ;)

Beautiful. I think I was just looking for an easy way to rationalize a way for this big bad wraith to make himself an army. Between Contagion and Animate Dead, any number of Mooks are possible. It's too bad for the PCs that they don't like hanging out with Paladins. ;)

So my players recently acquired a fire opal the size of a human head that has been shaped into a fist. (It was found in an old monastery where Infernal monks used to live) On one hand it could just be a big gem worth a lot of gold. On the other hand it could be something much cooler. Any ideas?
