    The step, a prestige class.

This would probably be better as a 5-level prestige class. Since it's not terribly strong now, I'd mostly just compress the abilities. (I'd also raise the BA to a wizard's.)

    Proposed Fighter "fix"

I've written and borrowed some fighter feats to help higher-level warrior types, especially fighters, in my game. Here's the list of fighter feats in my campaign, except the (few) closed-content ones. Since the list is essentially complete, you'll have to skim past the SRD feats. Sorry...

    New race, opinions welcome!

Claws ordinarily deal both piercing and slashing damage. If you thought the feat was weak (as I tend to feel), you could let it act as S/P instead of bludgeoning.

    Another polearm feat

The butt or the haft, depending on the part you're imagining.

    Shield Feats

    1. Once per day automatic would be my vote, just for simplicity. Otherwise, Int bonus (min one) per day with an opposed check. 2. d8? 4. It's not a bonus to AC per se; it's an increase to the shield bonus of wielded tower shields. You get a base +5 instead of +4. Copied from my site: Tower...

    Shield Feats

I have similar feats. The first adds +1 to AC with a tower shield and reduced the penalty by 1, and the second removes the penalty. The second feat, as I recall, requires Str 17 and base attack +10.

    Sorcerer House Rules?

Other: I've generally run the sorcerer as-is, but recently I've made a few tweaks to a number of classes, so I thought I'd modify the sorcerer as well. I give them 0 spells of the next spell level a level early (the same time wizards get access), usable only for lower-level spells (with...

    Most Common House Rules

Skill Focus and Negotiator stack. My best attempt at Diplomacy at 10th level was (pulls up Excel workbook) +45*, but that was without the Warlock. * 13 ranks, +6 synegy, +4 sacred, +3 competence, +2 racial, +9 unnamed, +8 Cha

    Barbarian Substitution levels- Berzerker

This is true, but it's not enough. First, Fast Movement gives all the benefits of Dash + Dash, while the proposed ability gives only part of the benefit of Endurance + Diehard (no Endurance benefit, Diehard benefit only when raging). Second, Endurance is considered a weak feat. Third, Diehard...

Immortals Handbook Epic Bestiary (now available)

Death in my campaign is similar to what U_K would call an Elder One. Powerwise, he/she/it is between Elder Ones and Old Ones; philosophically, she/he/it is a Greater God. From U_K's Superhero Relativity: Oddly, I was just working on something similar (not for D&D), so I actually have a good...

There are rules for that in the Bestiary -- p. 88 on my copy. You'll want 0.003% orichalcum with that strength.

In your current D&D 3.5 game, do the players or DM use Psionics and the XPH (Expanded

    3) No, don't like the rules or psionics generally. I own the XPH, and I think one of my players might too, but I'm not a fan of psionics. There are some interesting ideas in the book, but the overall 'feel' isn't what I'm going for in my campaign.

Yep, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th dimensions are pretty much the only interesting ones for hyperpolyhedra.

Epic Levels Without Ridiculous Amounts of Wealth?

I agree that epic characters don't deal with their wealth in coin, but I'll note that an off-the-cuff calculation of the earth's gold deposits yields about 14 000 000 000 000 000gp worth, enough for about 1 billion 40th level characters. :D
