As above, I have no issues with the animating force (and such no problems with antimagic in general) and am only considering the effects of said antimagic field. The creature can't hold itself together without magic.

Huh? I'm talking about the fact that its own gravity is strong enough to force itself into a sphere by virtue of its weight alone, not quibbling about its animating force.

What does beiong summoned have to do with it? I'm assuming it's physically present (called or just there). The weight of the neutronium golem would collapse itself (if it's large enough) or the neutronium would decay over the course of a minute, mostly into hydrogen, as the unstable neutrons...

So the neutronium golem collapses into a sphere if it's in an antimagic field?

...and this is why I said to just leave it -- otherwise you'll toy with it for ages, and we want our books. :D Frankly I'm probably going to use different rules for strength anyway, which will ruin all the careful planning of yours. (I wanted to use the obvious quadratic progression for Str...

Heck, it's worse than that... the electrons are pressed so close to the nucleus that they combine with the protons to make neutrons. Neutron stars (and so "neutronium") are really just neutrons pressed tightyl together by their own gravity. Obviosuly it wouldn't be possible to build something...

Well, do as you will, but I still prefer the old way (15) to the new way (10).

I'd just leave it exactly as-is. * The system woprks just fine now. * This would take extra time, and we don't want to wait. * Fewer virtual size categories are preferable to more (in complexity terms). * I don't really like the idea of expanding beyond its current position the proliferation of...

How fast can a miner dig out a 5' square of stone?

That looks pretty good, Primitive Screwhead.

I don't think it's too cheap at all. I'd keep it as you have it now.

What races are valid? Can we use the ECL races from the ELH?

Frankly we can pare it down even more (as desired) -- the core 4 (PH/DMG/MM plus ELH) plus Exalted Deeds/Vile Darkness should be enough. The god books (Deities and Demigods & Faiths and Pantheons) would be decent for the DM, but otherwise not needed. Also, we'll need to have a strict policy on...

How to make a 100th level character and other obsurd junk.

Yes, but we might not allow Improved Toughness (I don't in my campaign) based on what books we allow. Silly Craig, of course they both apply... the feat imnproves the creature's underlying natural armor, and the amulet applies an enhancement to the natural armor. In 3.0 it might not have...

I'd also favor OGCing both sets of names, but do what you must.

I've expanded my pervious list to CR 34 to 210. CR 34: Galaxar (The Serge, Dicefreaks) Young adult prismatic dragon (Wizards of the Coast, Epic Level Handbook) Phaethon (Wizards of the Coast, Epic Level Handbook) Diamond Weapon (Upper_Krust, promotional) Emerald Weapon (Upper_Krust...

Giving the monk more choices: the Mystic, version 1.6 -- post #41

Could you be more explicit? I recognize you haven't yet read over the latest version, but I'd like to hear more about this. It's pretty easy to pick-and-choose mystic powers as a DM, so in one sense I'm not worried (check out the 'martial mystic' variant on the last page). On the other hand...

Quick commnents: First of all, you do need to be a little nuts to make a 100th-level campaign. :) I like Turanil's adventure idea. I'll make a 100th-level paladin to complement your wizard; just give me some time. I think the sources I mentioned in the the post you quoted should be allowed...

Giving the monk more choices: the Mystic, version 1.6 -- post #41

No, not at all... I think it was a monk special ability (as well as a feat) in 3.0, before a basic bonus feat is 3.5. Plus, the feat as written needed some changes to work (since it required level 8 to 11 and a feat, IUS, that I dropped). It was for the best. In any case... any feedback or...

Giving the monk more choices: the Mystic, version 1.6 -- post #41

Yeah, I guess I should add them, for reference at least. The Stunning Fist feat is from the PH, but I could add it as well if you'd like. I've modified it so it can be taken on low levels (level 1 for Warrior-path mystics or fighters). What do you think?
