Any Experiences with Trouble at Durbenford?

If you like TaD, you'll love The Lost City of Barakus. The only problem I have with LCoB is the fact that the campaign is designed with giving out 1/2 experience awards to slow advancement. Otherwise, it has everything you mentioned that you wanted and more (some good stuff on the Necro boards).

New In-Game Slang Based On Your Games

"Halified"-Named after MEG Hal. It's the inexplicable way that he seems to roll poorly all the time. Used when you roll poorly. DM: Give me a Spot check. PC1: :rolls d20: A 3. PC2: That roll is "Halified".

    Why the hate, people?

We finished our D&D 3e campaign

Sounds like you had fun. You will really like The Banewarrens as a short campaign. I recommend going over to Monte's Place and checking out the messageboards for lots of good stuff for DMs dming the Banewarrens.

    Name your favorite D&D book

So many to choose from...I think I would have to pick The Monsternomicon by Privateer Press.

how do you store your D&D minis?

400+ minis = plastic baggies (sorted by type) and in plastic storage boxes you can buy at Wal-Mart.

Would YOU want a book of hand-drawn maps?

I love maps! If you can make some that are comparable in quality to Dungeons of Doom then I will get them. If you haven't seen DoD, take a look to see what I mean.

    Tampa, Florida anyone?

A bump to let anyone know who is interested that we have started an Eberron campaign and the PCs are now 2nd level. We are playing again on the 15th, so, if you are interested, let me know. Some details: 1 DM (Morpheus) 3 Players (MEG Hal and Dagger75 from these boards) The PCs are: A...

    [Jan05] Campaign reports

We just started an Eberron campaign and have finished 2 sessions. There are only three players (a warforged barbarian, a human battle sorcerer and a human cleric) and they have exceeded my expectations so far. They have defeated a carrion crawler, 6 gnolls, won a game of Six Stones and had to be...

Limiting the scope of your campaign

I am currently doing an Eberron campaign set in Sharn. Although not as limiting as yours, it does allow me to have a handle on the type of adventures and encounters without having to resort to too much handwaving. The players get plenty of choices as far as their characters are concerned, however.

    2004 in-game regret

As a DM-The constant shuffling in and out of players in our group. I wish I had done a better job of recruiting. Funniest screw-up by my players-The 1st-level battle sorcerer yelling, "Follow me!" as he chases some goblins that had ambushed the party. He runs, turns the corner, and is hit by 3...

Please help me with Eberron Adventure plot

Although I like WotVB, I don't know if it is what he is looking for. This might help though: Go here for tons of Eberron adventure seeds.

    Players Completely Ignoring Adventure Hooks

Nope, you are not alone. My crew needs to be lead along some of the time too. Funny you should mention it, but a couple of my players really are rocket scientists (engineers). One is just now learning that roleplaying can be a rewarding experience (not just bashing in the door, killing and...

    Describe your NEXT game session!

Last session, the PCs went to Sharn to find a lost brother and they found that he had been turned to stone ina game of Six Stones. This session (entitled "Secrets") promises a fight on a skycoach; intrigue with gnomes; a shopping trip in a most "magical" location and finally, that some secrets...

Eberron: Is it *really* a swashbuckling kind of campaign setting?

Different DM, different game...I guess if Dagger had to give his opinion now, he might say it's more like a Raymond Chandler novel than a pulp novel. That's the 'noir' aspect of Eberron-of course, no Chandler PI ever had to against a cockatrice in a game of Six Stones, either...

    What are Gestalt??

Van Hagar said it best when they said, "I want the Best of Both Worlds...". You, however, can forget about it. "No soup for you! Next!"
