    Magical Arrows

It wouldn't add to the price at all, assuming that was all 'flavor' text. In fact, it would marginally lower the value, in that you still need arrows, the arrows are converted, and they're unrecoverable. If you've got the money, moderate would be better, but for pure cost nothing beats cure...

D&D 3.x Can a Monk use the Improved Natural Attack feat (from the MM 3.5)

Yes, the most "deadly" of all attacks. :heh: Completely! I wasn't in the least trying to say that an unarmed strike is a slam attack, I was pointing out the similiarities... A slam attack is, other than being handled completely different mechanically, identical to a monk's unarmed attack.

    Magical Arrows

Really what you *should* get is a cure light wounds quiver. That way you can cure at the same rate you can heal. In fact, that's an even better idea, have it so that the 'arrows' that come from the quiver are just bolts of positive energy, and they use whatever enhancement bonus is already on...

PKing between PCs; do you allow it?

It's probably something in the way that I run it that makes it turn out that way. One thing I definitely do is emphasise that there HAS to be a role-playing reason. You can't just randomly kill someone and expect to get anything but punished for it. And that, IMO, is THE best way to handle...

PKing between PCs; do you allow it?

Allow it? I encourage it! Which means, actually, that it very seldom happens. But I tell my players to play their characters, and if there's an in character reason to kill another character, I'll not only grant full XP for the killing, but I'll give a special reward too. The one time it did...

    Magical Arrows

'S true. And he could almost certainly do better than a simple "heal" spell.

    Dust Of Sneezing And Choking

Way ahead of you. I had a player the other day looking at cursed items (I knew what he was looking at!) I stopped him right there and told him that "cursed items can only be found, not made or bought". Especially that one. The price is how much it sells for to vendors, who will reluctantly pay...

D&D 3.x Can a Monk use the Improved Natural Attack feat (from the MM 3.5)

I would choose "slam". A close look at the description of slam attack will reveal that it's a bludgeoning attack with a part of the body. It does go on to say 'usually' a limb. But that implies that it could be anything. Slam attacks are pretty much monk attacks, only "natural" instead of...

How to make LA+2 Elf race capable spellcasters?

There's really no way to make +ECL "worth it" to a caster, without granting also +caster levels AND +bonus spells equal to what they're losing.

    Magical Arrows

True... but if you're making a new magic item in a batch of one, then you can also make that it's not destroyed. Easy. You're already making up the rules and pricing. ALternitively you can make 50 and have them destroyed. Any arguements to the fact that you can only make one with those rules is...

    Problems with arcane sight

For added fun throw in a ventriloquism spell and possibly an image spell or so. Nothing says "There goes a spellcaster" like an image of the spellcaster running and then a ventriloquism (from the real caster) of spellcasting, followed by a nice toasty fireball (or whatever spell was cast)...

How do you feed your pet mind flayer?

Wow. So you're saying you've seriously never eaten canned chili or chili from an unknown origin? Well, I have. Many people I know have. I personally enjoy telling them that brains ARE among the ingredients. Generally speaking, of course.

How do you feed your pet mind flayer?

Excellent idea. You can supliment real brains when foes are available. A simple Ring of Sustenance should also do the job, magicallistically speaking. Have you ever eaten chili? Did it come from a can? Do you KNOW what was in it? 'nuff said.

    Problems with arcane sight

I think that just ruling that he can pinpoint the square but still gets a miss chance is good enough, Ghost sounds are a decent idea but an invisibility spell has a much stronger aura, and the AS spell does specifically state that you know the strength of the aura... plus if the creature is a...

    Is this monk still Lawful?

I still say that intent will have a lot to do with whether it's an evil act. But given that you assign all act a good or evil descriptor, and no acts are given a neutral descriptor, I have to assign giving someone a disease (for any reason) as evil, but with (a LOT) fewer evil points than...

    Is this monk still Lawful?

Oh! More fun. I'll take it a step further and suggest that NOT knowingly and willingly violating laws is chaotic. That's right! You have to slap a chaotic alignment infraction on anyone who switches law-sets based on something as random and chaotic as where they are at the moment. Anyone who...

    Is this monk still Lawful?

I suppose that depends heavily on the laws of the land, or the laws that the Monk in question adheres to. I'm not even certain that in America (where I live) there are laws against speading disease. Although I do know that there is a Center for Disease Control, and some laws to enable them to...

    Earrings of Alter Self

Looks like you're doing it right. That's about what I might price the item, if I allowed it at all. Alter self is pretty powerful. Now, if you restrict it to only one form a discount would be prudent (IMO). I personally think that if I allowed it at all I'd still limit it to only a few forms...

    Problems with arcane sight

I always assumed it did too! Until a recent use of the spell (and rereading) lead me to see that the effect of the spell is a -40 to hide... well... I'll re-read it again Hrmm... actually it does say it outlines the creature. Doesn't say you can SEE the creature... OK, I can see how that...

    Problems with arcane sight

Well, if it were darkness 5' perhaps. But no, I'd still grant a miss chance. I don't bother. I was trying to accept your completely made up idea that an aura was not an aura, and rule from there. You're missing me trying to work *with* you. In reality I rule that you can SEE the creature...
