Artificer UA to be released in February

I just checked the PHB and D&D Beyond. Unless their is errata Clerics and Druids can only change spell 1st-9th. Not cantrips. But you are correct that I did over look this being the half caster class with cantrips at all. I updated my last post to correct this and to cover the rest of what I...

Artificer UA to be released in February

First thing I notice... Artificer's as far as I now are now the first class to be able to change out cantrips.. as well as being the only 1/2 caster class to have cantrips at all. "When you gain a level in this class, you can replace one of the artificer cantrips you know with another cantrip...

I came to find people as anxious and impatient for the revised artificer release as me... I am not disappointed. lol

    Opportunity Rover D&D Stat Block

I feel like the immunity to exhaustion should be removed since that's what it was basically suffering from at the end. Other wise I like it.

D&D 5E (2014) Warlock Magic Item Christmas Wish list

Ring of protection is more expensive but it opens up your cloak slot for a Cape of the Mountebank for its lack of attunement requirement but not a bad call for sure. Looking in that vain of thought Ioun stone (Mastery) adds to proficiency bonus, so with Resilient(con) your getting a +3 to +7...

D&D 5E (2014) Warlock Magic Item Christmas Wish list

I did not know about Illusionists Bracers....(0.0) ...that is … wow... talk about a high level power bump for caster warlocks. I have a pact of the tome warlock if I could choice 3 attument items... Pact Keeper +3, Robes of the Archmagi, and Illusionists Bracers I would be one happy warlock...

D&D 5E (2014) Warlock Magic Item Christmas Wish list

1.Wand of the War mage +3 stacks with Rod of the Pact keeper +3 for a might +6 to hit 2.If you can go legendary... The Dragon Masks from Rise of Tiamat are official, Red might be the best but I actually prefer green the key here is "Draconic Majesty. While you are wearing no armor, you can add...

Replacing dead characters with similar ones

Role play, it makes since that if a Role is missing from the Party that is what they would most willingly recruit into their number. I have not problem with that and it causes less problems. For example, healer dies, player comes back as a scout... party has a scout already now they fight over...

Here Are The Most Popular D&D Feats (War Caster Leads The Pack!)

You might have a point. I know I have seen it before but I tend to be very literal so I ask "Why?" and get your "you are wrong, take it back" kind of replies... I just get confused, but then you have Jeremy Crawford say RAI = X, when people get stuck on "you are wrong, take it back" and continue...

Here Are The Most Popular D&D Feats (War Caster Leads The Pack!)

Great answer thank you. I could see how Resilient (con) might not click in the mind of newer players as effecting concentration effects or stacking with the paladin aura making it actually stronger (at higher levels +3 aura, +6 for con proficiency, and minimum roll of 1 means you can't fail...

    2-hour adventures

2-hour adventures are a lie. My party can talk out 3 hours of planning we don't end up using any of, and despite it only taking 10 minutes to actually complete, after 8 hours of play, having promised our families we would only play for 2-3 hours, and having stopped to email, SMS, and call for...

D&D 5E (2014) New Metal Dice from WOTC!

Well, at first glance I would say they cost about $20-40 dollars more depending on how who you normally order from. Otherwise they work the same as the $10-20 dollar ones I bought, or the $7.50 plastic ones I bought. ...Then again I bought a set of metal ones at about $15 despite there being a...

    Flanking Rules

Wouldn't it also mean NPCs do as well? My problem is that it negates all the other ways to get advantage, but I actually like it being very strong. It puts emphasis on number in melee. Range being more defensive and easier to pick/switch targets. I would be okay with a +2 or even a +5. It...

Here Are The Most Popular D&D Feats (War Caster Leads The Pack!)

FrogReaver I just want to say I appropriate you actually trying to argue the point even half side ways where others have devolved into personal attacks trying to devalue people instead of debate the information we know. On the point of the question asked. Why are people personally offended by...

He stated that was rules as intended. Thats why it wasn't on the very extensive chart. As Lead Rules Designer for Wizards of the Coast it might not be "RAW" but if he says that was always the intent and the best answer you have is to say "Its a house rule because it was explicitly stated word...

Lol, wow. I never said any of that and insulting my GM seems like a poor way to debate a point you disagree with and its simply not true. I don't know whats coming, he activitly tries to kil me, but I also have the alert feat and expertise in perception through prodigy. I don't stray more than...

I have, the Paladin cast his spell the first round then drew his weapon after and move into 5ft so if they moved he would get the opportunity attack ...every time.. .without fail. My GM actively tries to kill me as scout so no, he is not being very very nice. I would like to take this moment...

Here Are The Most Popular D&D Feats (War Caster Leads The Pack!)

    1. I understand for players who don't like role play in there table top strategy game. They exist, but enougth for #1? 2. Sure lower level characters are more common. Actually a pretty valid point. I tend to think this is the best reason though resilience would also apply to other con saves...

Its not a house rule: https://www.sageadvice.eu/2017/03/29/what-are-the-rules-on-dropping-weapons/ Jeremy Crawford "The intent is that letting go of something requires no appreciable effort. But picking it up does." "You can also interact with one object or feature of the environment for free...
