    PrC: The Haruspex

Hmm, thanks for pointing that out. I'll probably just add a racial requirement instead. I cannot think of any naturally sightless races that are not rather monstrous, which doesn't fit with the flavor I want (sophisticated and highly organized mercenaries [with a side helping of mysterious goals]).

    PrC: The Haruspex

I cooked this class up the other day and I'd like some feedback. Please, don't hold back if you think it's too powerful (or too weak), I don't mind criticism. So without further ado... The Haruspex Every warrior must learn to read the stance and movements of his opponents in order to guess at...

Do you let magic bow and magic ammo stack?

Yeah, this is why the cleric archer was so good in 3.0. Seriously, clerics are awesome already, there is no need to power them up even further.

    Most overlooked feat?

Well, personally, I rarely see people take Skill Focus and find that Extend Spell is one of the most common metamagic feats. My vote for most underrated feat would probably be, at least in core, Mounted Combat. It opens up lots of great feats (Spirited Charge anyone?), plus being mounted is...

The Tome of Time (A second book of magic)

I see what you are saying about the need for a bump in the number of echoes at high levels, but I still think doubling is a bit too much. Perhaps some flat bonus would be more appropriate? And as for the extra swift action, it also seems less out there when compared to quicken spell and the...

Three char level 8 group - How would you do it?

I think he's asking of what would your ideal party consist. I say three druids. :)

    Cragtop Archer & Swiftwing Arrows

The key here is not the example explaining the benefit, but the words "usual" and "normal". Both abilities do the exact same thing, reducing the normal penalty by 1/2. They don't stack.

Shadowcasters and Domains, Rodent of Darkness help plz

By RAW, no. The shadowcaster casts mysteries, not spells. But I'd let it work, the shadowcaster is horribly underpowered and thus could use any boost he can get.

The Tome of Time (A second book of magic)

Hey, no problem, I totally understand the holiday thing. Anyway, I went through the abilities and called out the problematic ones and suggested various fixes. Feel free to use any that you like. I hope you had a good time on Thanksgiving though! Seems okay, the rogue has more limited...

Help me prepare to defeat my fellow PC- the Lich!

I think the OP is afraid that the Dread Necro PC will turn on him, and is just asking what to do if this happens. That said, give your artificer cohort craft contingent spell (from Complete Arcane). A suite of contingent effects that go off if your lich buddy attacks your or your wife's...

    Houseruling weak feats

Monkey grip sucks pretty hard actually, in most cases you get +1-1.5 average damage in exchange for -2 attack. Power attack is literally 2 to 4 times better. Although, IMHO, allowing it to grant reach as well (like the OP does) would make it broken. I ban it also, though, but mostly because I...

    Planar Bubble and creature choices

Well, technically nothing is native to the astral plane in the sense of having originated there in the beginning, as it were (well, as far as we know, though the astral dreadnoughts may be). But githyanki, astral whales, astral devas, astral dragons, and few others make kip in the Silver Void.

    Ride: Spur Mount

I thought this was going to be another one of those, "Hey look! The damage from spur mount increases exponentially!," threads. :)

    Is this build correct?

Me or the original poster? Because I was trying to stay within core to demonstrate that such damage, while high, is not over the top. But for the OP it would free up a feat (which could conceivably be Improved TWF).

    Is this build correct?

I think you need skirmish +2d6/+1 to qualify for Improved Skirmish. Other than that and the issue the others have pointed out it seems fine. I don't think it is completely out of line, damage wise, though. At eighth level a raging barbarian with a great-axe can power attack for four, getting a...

    Strongarm Bracers and...*sigh* Monkey Grip...

If this is the wording then I don't think it would stack with Monkey Grip. Monkey Grip allows you to wield a weapon of one size category larger than you actually are for a -2 penalty. The Strongarm Bracer treats you as one size category larger for the purposes of wielding weapons. The Strongarm...

    Half-Dragony Goodness

Not being able to fight at range is a pretty big drawback, but I disagree with flaws granting bonus feats in principal. I don't mind the idea of getting a drawback in exchange for some benefit, but when you get to choose the drawback and the benefit you're always going to end up with situations...

The Tome of Time (A second book of magic)

Some of the Echocaller abilities are a bit problematic. I'm not going to make a full character, but let's assume that some twentieth level echocaller has a strength of 14, a dexterity of 30 (16+4 (level)+4 (inherent)+6 (item)), and a wisdom of 20 (15+1 (level)+4 (item)). A decent but not...

    Death Bringer

I'm tempted to say that it should get full BAB, seeing as it has only half spell-casting progression, which is a huge hit in power for a cleric. However, I'm not sure. Full BAB would be a big boon to the physical combat oriented cleric entering this class (divine power sets your BAB equal to...

    Shemeska's Planescape Storyhour (Updated 29 Jan 2014)

In general, real world cases of retrograde amnesia retain procedural knowledge while losing some or all of their propositional knowledge (although it is possible to lose both, or to lose only portions of procedural knowledge), the most prevalent explanation being that they are stored differently...
