shameska, the pay to surf sites are still there, that's actually what I was talking about when I said I was currently earning, so far I'm at a total of over $800 profit.

In the modern day of online games...

that's great, I wouldn't think of purchasing a MUD, if I was to start one it would be using one of the many many free codebases. and MUD stands for Multi-User-Dungeon/domain. They are text based roleplaying games accessed by telnet. Although there are mud clients out there which are glorified...

    500 post!!

yeah, I'm kind of in the same boat. I don't think post count is too terribly important, it's more of a pride thing. I'd rather see one good post than 10 posts that are just a waste of bandwidth ;)

do you consider all work from home sites scams?

yeah, links in my sig, but I'm not trying to get referals or anything which is why I didn't mention it. I don't know about processing insurance claims, but stuffing envelopes usually loses you money if I'm correct, because what they pay you isn't really more than the cost you spend on postage...

In the modern day of online games...

Do any of you still RP online in the form of MUDs? I was thinking of actually starting work on a new mud pretty soon just as a side-hobby and was wondering if many people still actually even played.

    Cool Xmas gifts for Gamers

T-shirts are fun, dice are always an easy pickup, and you could always get them a ... I dunno I can't really think of anything other than t-shirts or dice off the top of my head that would be decently priced to buy for the gaming group. But I know I wouldn't mind having a park saber. You can...

do you consider all work from home sites scams?

There are dozens, hundreds, nay probably thousands of websites which offer you the chance to work from home in one form or another to make money online. I realize a lot of these are just fancy ponzi schemes and a lot of the rest are just flat out scams, but I have seen some that pay and I've...

Stats of Other D&D Dragon Gods

I've not been playing d&d long compared to some veterans, but in my 9 years of d&d I've had no reason for diety stats.

Can a wand be used more than once per round?

This is a good question, and something that should be watched out for, you can generally tell when a good tactic is attempted to be abused though.

Are you a good Dungeon Master?

It's kind of funny, because if you change the 16 years to 7 years, then that is my exact same speech. I often wonder if the reason they consider me a good DM is because I'm one of the only DMs they have ever really had, but I know that I could be a better DM, because I consider myself a not so...

    D20 Western

You guys have invoked my curiosity on sidewinder. I will definately have to look into it. I have always thought of giving a standard d&d game a western theme would be cool. No guns or TNT, just the overal theme. Dwarven prospectors, Elven Shamans, Human settlers trying to take advantage of...

    Strategy or role-playing game?

I agree with what many others have said, the amount of roleplaying is dependent upon the group, not the system. You could take a system that is highly based on telling a story like say, white-wolfs storyteller system and a group of non-roleplayers could turn it into a strategy game, just like a...
