I can't use search, help me out please.

I'm looking for the thread from here a while back that had the ultimate game table. Not the huge one with the message balls and lights, but the more practical one with the drawers w/ cupholders and a 1" grid on top.

    Does anyone play warhammer?

So I guess the best way to find out about this would be to ask a tournament judge?

    Does anyone play warhammer?

okay, so what about reinforments in fantasy? for example the dwarven miners. If my opponent has dwarven miners I could be completely unaware of them until they come on the board?

    Spam Emails Pissing Me Off

I was getting quite a bit over the past week as well, more than usual. I clicked "report spam" at google (gmail) friday though and I think that took care of most of it.

    Does anyone play warhammer?

I have a question about warhammer. When you make your army roster, what all are you allowed to withhold from your opponent? Does he have the right to know that unit X has X strength, etc. Can you hide who has what magical items, special abilities, etc? Ive not ever found this in the book so...

    Characters and their sheets

I would have to say this is my exact experience. I have a character that was a gnome rogue, was in my head going to be a street thug rather than a "thief". Once we starting gaming he has turned more into a drunk. Not something I first envisioned with him, it's just something I found out about...

    Are you a threadkiller?

Yeah, that would be a bit ironic, not like rain on your wedding day, which is just crap luck.

As a player, do you enjoy moral dilemmas and no-win situations?

I think that this does a very good job of summing up my oppinions on no-win situations. Thank you mouseferatu.

    Explain object-oriented programming

yeah, I think the starcraft analogy is a good one on OOP. you could even go further and say that all of the vehicles, tanks, spaceships, bikes, even infantry are extensions of the "unit" object. It can be usefull, but I would agree that it's not the "must do" method of programming.

    Thread Capping

    Characters and their sheets

At what point do you consider your characters to become more than just numbers on the character sheet, or do you? It has been my experience that the longer you play a character the more real it becomes (as real as a fictional character can be). I've done things that I really didnt want to do...

As a player, do you enjoy moral dilemmas and no-win situations?

I like moral decisions, and a no-win situation could be introduced I would say, once. pretty much ever. Sure it's not something you enjoy at a time, but it does at experience to the character. These experiences are what transform the characters we know and love into more than just numbers on...

    need law advice

As some of you may know I am opening a game/comic/hobby shop and we just got our lease writtin up for building. I'm not a law savy guy so I was wondering if some of you might take a look at the lease (names have been removed) and comment on it. Since I am not law savy I do not wish to be taken...

    Need number-crunching help, please.

Althought it may not be what your looking for you could raise the DC to say 30. Give the PC 3 rolls, add the results of the three rolls and compare to the DC. Almost like craft. For example. Open Lock DC 15 (40) If you get less than a 15 on any of your 3 rolls then you fail, otherwise add...

    I got the loan!

Yup, he went to work at the factory to pay off his wife's bills from her last marriage, then she split on him. He got left with a good paying job and a closed down shop that he closed to spend more time with his family. He also had some bad business practices though too, like getting back to...

Sounds good to me, they are second level now so it would give me a chance to read it and prepare it for when they get a bit higher level.
