What good is a sandbox when someone just wants to get to the dungeon? Leisure time is valuable and plenty of folks want to get to killing things in a flowchart made of imaginary stone walls and secret doors.

Thing is paizo's serpent folk right out of the book are not much of a dungeon encounter unless they have some offensive items to UMD. Sure they fit the bill for Kull's antagonist, but a 8 str, suggestion 1/day, dagger and barely poisonous bite is not going to do much when it is time to roll init.

Maiming. Few slavers are foolhardy enough to let slaves be armed and and slave you can't disarm is not worth keeping alive. Maim them to the point of not being able to cast or just kill them. Magics strong enough to enslave someone are to valuable to waste on low powered casters.

Depends if Nale gets fast tracked to Fiend status or if Sabine devours Nale's Soul as a power up.
