[Green Ronin] Dungeons of Doom Coming This August

Sounds great. I'm another cartography fan. Hope your work includes some sepia-tone maps and a lots of wondrous features like crystal caves, icy waterfalls and underground fungus forests. I like my dungeons exotic!

Can somebody tell me about Runequest setting?

Don't buy RQ3. I heard a lot of good things about Runequest for many years and decided to try it. The book was 90% useless rules, with bizarre references that weren't explained, and no setting information about the fantasy world. Instead it had some pseudo-historical Earth setting that didn't...

    Straight Dope on Eberron . . .

Orb of the Seven Moons? From what I've seen, it copies a lot from the Talislanta setting, right down to the windships. And the dwarven detective? That sounds like Shadowrun exactly. So now we'll have film noir with elves and dwarves in a pseudo-steampunk setting. Ugh. I don't have high...

    Sheoloth: City of the Drow

How does this product compare to Underdark, or the old Menzoberranzan products? Is it better than Vault of the Drow? The maps did look very good, and the city design seems cool, but is there enough good background material for a long adventure here or is it just a pretty location to visit once?

    TSR Q&A with Gary Gygax

Hello Gary, I was wondering how you developed the world of Greyhawk. I know it was undoubtedly an organic growth with pieces being fleshed out through your games, but later on when the project was becoming commercial, did you have specific design goals for Greyhawk? I've heard people...

    [Planescape] Essential products?

Planes of Conflict was my favorite boxed set (apart from the core books), and the best adventure for Planescape was undoubtedly Dead Gods, which I'm running right now. As for conversion, it depends on your dedication to 3E. I personally twist and mangle rules all the time for the sake of the...

Why no WotC M:tG and D&D crossover?

I think it would be a great idea. I've always wanted to roleplay in the world of Dominaria, especially if all that cool art could be used in a campaign sourcebook. I never liked MTG as a game, but as a high-level exotic setting it would be fantastic. Summoning could be a hugely important skill...

    I like 3E, but I miss...

I don't miss Planescape...because I'm running it right now! And it's great. Not using 3E rules mind you, but it's still the best campaign world that TSR ever created. Though I think that rewriting planescape for 3E would suck it dry of all the fun and originality that Cook and Baer put into it...
