Does it detail full cyborgs? (ie: Only their brain is not artificial)

As one of my players said during an action scene: "You can solve everything, you only need more TNT." And for blowing up big things I'd say a DC18- 25 would be appropriate. For blowing up smaller things and using specialised equipement I'd put the DC 5-15. There ya go. :)

I guess I'm outnumbered this time. Then again I can wait for those colossal fighting machines to jump into the atmosphere and level entire cities. :)

I agree with Chrysalis on this matter. And for game rules I'd use the VRNet enhanchement from WotC. Or I have to wait until D20 Cyberspace for other ideas. :D

Use d20 modern with d20 future. With those and 2 days of work (working 1-2 hours a day, with typing) I created my own setting my own rules. That's it. Maybe that's only because I'm a minimalist and like to be in the middle of the creation of the world I'm DMing. ;)

OR with increasing the MP value for +1 LA you could create a setting like X-Men. :D

You should only allow PC's to take ability upgrade/decay only once for a given ability. This should prevent the slighest possibility of powergaming. (which is generally a valid threat in a d20 game ;) )

In my opinion this machine should be available at PL early 6 or 7. And this campaign would be cool to show the players an all powerful computer vs. humans scenario. Maybe the computer itself went mad (if its an AI) during the time it waited for the first humans to grow up, or malfunctioned and...

I always go with the Hellboy approach. And maybe a little bit with Constantine (e.g.: PCs are mostly unaffected but normal people turn insane)
