Dungeon idea - a forgotten prison for dragons built by aberrations

So here's my second in a series of posts about these dungeons. It provides a specific history for one of the dungeons and hooks to get the PCs there. Let me know what ya think. http://worldbuilderblog.me/2015/05/14/prison-for-dragons-hooks-and-background/

Dungeon idea - a forgotten prison for dragons built by aberrations

Thanks for your reply. Well the idea is that many aberrations and all dragons are intelligent, so they wouldn't just kill each other. They'd interrogate prisoners for information and also ransom and brainwash dragons. They need a place to hold them while they're doing that, hence the prisons!

Dungeon idea - a forgotten prison for dragons built by aberrations

So this idea came to me because in my world aberrations warred with dragons for thousands of years. Some of the prisons built to house dragons are still standing. What do you think? Cool adventure location? http://worldbuilderblog.me/2015/05/12/prison-for-dragons/

    Mechs for 5e

My world is high magic and I thought it would be cool to include some Megaman X-style mechs that are good for a few fights, but not something the PCs or bad guys constantly have at their disposal. Take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks...

    New Siege Weapons and Ammunition

I needed some more fantastical siege weapons for my campaign as well as some variety in the ammunition for cannons and catapults. Take a look and let me know what you think! http://worldbuilderblog.me/2015/05/05/siege-weapon-update/

RA Salvatore's The Wubba Wubba (wand of wonder)

So I'm sure at least some of you have heard RA Salvatore tell the story of The Wubba Wubba. I love the wand of wonder and decided to create my own version of Salvatore's DM's crazy item. http://worldbuilderblog.me/2015/04/28/the-wubba-wubba/ What's the silliest item you've ever crafted?

Werespider 5e Stats and Sideview Battlemat

I created a werespider because I love crazy, strange lycanthropes (wereshark forever). I also used this beastie in an encounter where I flipped the battle mat from bird's eye view to side view. Anyone else ever get crazy with a battle mat? What did you do...

20 New Traps in a Free PDF

So I updated a bunch of classic traps and designed a few of my own and put them on my website for people to grab. http://worldbuilderblog.me/2015/04/21/20-traps-in-a-pdf/ What other traps have people used for their campaigns? Let's get an idea exchange going.

    Archons for D&D 5e

So I love using archons as PC allies in my campaigns. Only problem is they aren't in the Monster Manual (I love the book - something had to go to make room for all that awesome), so I came up with my own stats for them. I'm talking about the celestial variety, not the elemental variety (which...

    Easy-to-use hazards - Free PDF

So I like it when hazards in combat are simple and easy-to-use at the table (though I make exceptions from time to time) so they don't bog down play. I wrote up some here at my blog. http://worldbuilderblog.me/2015/04/14/simple-hazards/ What are some hazards other people have used that worked...
