Well I have found that playing on non-ranked servers lets me actualy PLAY! So if you're on a non-ranked (till they patch it) and run across CannonBait don't forget to say hi, be it with an ammo pack or grenade, depending on which side we're on ;) Hatchling Dragon

Saga of Ryzom doesn't seem to have any sort of Class system. Lob Magic at things, you get magic, beat them to death after first luring with a spell then you'll get only a few Magic Exp and many more Melee. You can get a free 14 day trial too, and if/when you buy the game you get another 14...
