It also had Mathilda May running around in her birthday suit for a significant amount of time. And for a Cannon Film production it actually had good special effects. 10/10, one of the breast space vampire movies I've ever seen.

Do All of Your RPG Maps Now Belong To Judges Guild? ... and more?

I'm certainly no lawyer, but I'm pretty sure you have a handful of years to file a suit for copyright infringement. I think this is just a guy talking out of his rear end and nothing will come of this. Or at least nothing positive the current Judge's Guild if they try to pursue this.

    CMON Games In Trouble

I've ordered two Kickstarters from CMON and they delivered both times. I'm sorry to hear they're in trouble.

[D&D 5E] Shackled City & Age of Worms completed!

Woot! I'm running my group through a heavily modified Age of Worms campaign right now. We're currently on a detour through White Plume Mountain right now. Glad you had a good time.

Do All of Your RPG Maps Now Belong To Judges Guild? ... and more?

Assuming Judge's Guild was the first one to use hexes for maps and random tables in this manner, it's been almost fifty years since such things have been in use. It seems like it's a little late to start worrying about copyright claims now.

What videogames are you playing in 2025?

MW5: Clans has a more narrative campaign mode. One nice touch is the dialogue from Smoke Jaguar characters demonstrating they really don't understand the Inner Sphere or how they fight wars. The Clanners are very concerned about not wasting assets and are horrified at the dishonorable...

    Star Trek OS Revised

I've only a seen a few of the remastered episodes and I thought it was okay as they didn't really change the nature of the story. As Leonard Nimoy said, "The episodes that were bad then are still bad today, and the episodes that were good then are still good today." It's a little jarring...

What videogames are you playing in 2025?

I can't exactly trust my star's AI and the spheroids' main tactic is to throw wave after wave of mechs, tanks, and air support after me.

What videogames are you playing in 2025?

I'm playing Mechwarrior 5: Clans, and while it's okay, it's getting a bit repetitive. In pretty much every battle the strategy is to have everyone in my star (squad) target my target, lather, rinse, and repeat. It doesn't help that most all the missions feel alike whether it's a patrol...

    What Is A Superhero?

In the Hush storyline, Batman suffers a fractured skull, has bone fragments removed from his brain, and is back to crime fighting about a week later. Everyone advises him he needs to rest, but nah, he's got this.

    D&D General Dwarves Domesticated Bears!

Like I said in my first post, I can accept bear cavalry in a fantasy game because suspension of disbelief is par for the course. But then it's one of those things that's better left unexplained. People have been taming elephants for use as beasts of burden and weapons of war for quite a while...

    Overrated/Underrated Geek Media

That's kind of what I was getting at when I said I watched Gilligan's Island because I didn't have many other options. Fun fact: I've never seen a complete episode of The Brady Bunch. I saw the first movie, but never a whole episode of the original. I've reported your post. We just don't...

    D&D General Dwarves Domesticated Bears!

In a fantasy setting I don't really have a problem with bear cavalry. Wait, is the bear riding a horse or is someone riding the bear? Either way, I'm in. Practically speaking, even if a bear could be ridden, the cost of feeding and caring for a maul of bears would be ridiculously expensive in...

    IN REMEMBRANCE--2025

Even young Mr. Grace is gone? Are you Being Served? is one of those British sitcoms that saw heavy rotation on PBS here in the United States and it was rerun for years. I watched it in the early 1990s and I'm pretty sure I've seen almost every episode at one point or another.

The official EN World puppy/doggo thread

I'm happy you and the dog are all happy, healthy, and at home. Now I have an important message about your car's warranty and if you don't send me gift cards within the next 30 minutes you'll be fined by the Department of the Interior.

D&D 5E (2024) Eye Tyrant. Who Died and Made You Gygax?? Design Your Own D&D 2024X3.

I think only 10% of players go past level 10. Are those 10% of my players the diehard supporters? Maybe. But this thread is about what I'd do if given control. And what I'd do is make those diehard supporters purchase a separate $50 dollar book if they wanted to go to level 20.

What does it take for an RPG to die?

To fit in with the TikTok generation, we should refer to them as unalived games.

What does it take for an RPG to die?

You guys are familiar with idioms, right? Dead air isn't literally air that's dead, it's when a radio station's signal is working but nothing is being broadcast. A language that's dead didn't literally die, because as you point out, it's not an organism, but it has a meaning other than the...
