It's different, but I think I like it. IMHO, it looks more like such a creature should look like and less like they stuck a (six-armed) woman's body onto a snake. The forehead, hair and nose are all too similar in colour, though, and that makes her face look all scrunched up.

The map doesn't run all the way to the pole. It stops (IIRC) ~70o North, to avoid any serious polar distortions, and because I had nothing to put up there :). Forgot to add, the completed map (closer to completion, anyway) and the regional maps are here...

Varies with the character. Usually 20-ish though younger for young roguish types or older (mid-late 20s) for wizards and other learned characters, probably due to my own experience with higher education and the time needed to properly understand a subject.

Thanks, the trails were annoying to do, I'm glad they came out right. The symbols are from CC2's Fantasy Overland Set add-on.

Haven't played in one, but I DMed a group that didn't, in the Crater Ridge Mines of RttToEE. Oops :D

The base map was done in CC2; the text, symbols and legend was added in Photoshop.

It depends on the circumstances. Normally, exact placement isn't an issue and I'll let it slide. On the other hand, if it does matter, such as long range or precision fire, then it's ranged touch attack with grenade-like weapon scatter on a miss.

World map. For scale, Tenaebrys is ~3x the size of earth. This wasn't intentional, I managed to drop a figure somewhere along the way when I was planning the world, and only realised when I was finishing this map.
