http://adamant.rpgnow.com/images/92/58374.jpgAdamant Entertainment is proud to continue The Imperial Age, our line of Victorian/Steampunk products, made for use with d20 Modern or Past. From reanimating corpses to invisible men, the Gentleman Scientist is a staple of the Victorian literary...

Oct 1st is the big day! Let's list the products being released.

I expect that a lot of publishers are in wait-and-see mode (again), now that there are revisions supposedly coming to the GSL Real Soon Now (tm). Not too many publishers would want to get on board with a license that has announced changes which nobody has seen yet.

What do you want to see from 4E Publishers?

(I posted this over on RPGnet, and it occurred to me that I should've posted here, too) As of October 1st, the floodgates will be opened -- under the terms of the GSL, publishers will be allowed to release 4E product (although some non-GSL product has been available for months *ahem*). So...

    [Adamant Entertainment] The Villainomicon!

http://adamant.rpgnow.com/images/92/58071.jpg Bring on the Bad Guys! Villains are crucial to superheroes. They don't just provide antagonism -- they demonstrate exactly what it is that makes the hero a hero. The Villainomicon gives you 20 dastardy supervillains, ready to use in your M&M...

    9/11 - Freedom isn't Free

I've been trying to stay out of public publisher-vs-publisher criticism recently, but I can't stay silent on this. As somebody who lost friends on 9/11, I find it disgusting that you use the date, in faux "somberness", as an opportunity to plug your products. Classless and shameless.

    Adamant Entertainment: State of Play

We'd be willing to continue 3.X support, if we had any real indication that there was a viable customer base. Right now, we're just not seeing it.....but I'd love to be convinced otherwise.

    Adamant Entertainment: State of Play

As we approach Adamant Entertainment's 5th birthday in November, we thought we'd take the time to answer the question: What's up with Adamant? After spending most of 2007 in a holding pattern due to the changing circumstances of the roll-out and implementation of the Game System License, one...

    [Adamant Entertainment] d20 Dollar Sale!

At the suggestion of several gamers who have emailed me, we're going to go ahead and leave our d20 offerings available for a dollar until the official termination date of the license. Thanks to everyone who has picked up our products!

Dragon Roots Magazine DIDN'T sell the 4e Killed Gary shirts

Maybe what you're not getting is that for many of us in that Exhibit Hall, Gary isn't a "dead celebrity." He was a friend, a co-worker, a colleague.... Would you react with "Meh" if some chuckleheads were mocking the death of one of your friends? This seems to be the disconnect for many...

Dragon Roots Magazine DIDN'T sell the 4e Killed Gary shirts

I find it sad that there are gamers (in this thread, and on a thread on the same topic at RPGNet) who try to argue that this is somehow acceptable or at the least not worse than usual.... These guys wore this shirt, and walked the slogan through an exhibit hall filled with Gary's friends and...

    [Adamant Entertainment] d20 Dollar Sale!

Definitely something we'd consider doing. I'll let you know after GenCon (where we'll be talking to Paizo). And as a reminder: The d20 dollar sale lasts until the end of August!

WotC to Revise D&D 4th Edition GSL and SRD

Thanks for the candor, Scott. I'd *love* to hear what your and Linnae's recommended changes are, but I expect that's probably a big no-no as far as Legal is concerned.

WotC to Revise D&D 4th Edition GSL and SRD

I'll go there. I'm VERY skeptical. I've been playing the game of "adjust expectations downward" ever since being on the 10-publisher conference call with WOTC back in January. Every part of this process, from announcement to roll-out, has been a case study of being told one thing, and...

    [Adamant Entertainment] d20 Dollar Sale!

Not sure I understand the second bit -- are you requesting that we convert the MARS line to Pathfinder, or are you requesting a Pathfinder version of the classic "Rogues Gallery" (which was our template for Minions...)?

project for school: Impact of E-books on Publishing

The AP did a story on that, late last year. You can still find it on some sites: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/12/04/AR2007120401300.html

    E-Publishing Seminar @ GenCon

For folks who might be interested: I've been asked to be one of the speakers at the following seminar, at 2:00 next Friday at GenCon in Indianapolis. E-Publishing: Bringing RPGs to Market in the 21st Century E-Publishing has helped many companies reach thousands of new customers, and it has...

Licensees not going to 4e because of poor sales?

You know what? You're absolutely right. Never let it be said that Adamant Entertainment doesn't listen to gamers, and doesn't admit it when we make a mistake. We've dropped the price, and offered a rebate for folks who have already purchased it. Thanks for the heads-up, guys.
