Someone mentioned over at Fluid's message boards that it requires MDAC 2.5 so search microsoft.com for the lastest MDAC and maybe then it will work.

Oh, and for the speed issue - Make sure you have the most up to date MDAC and Jet drivers from MS. Look at the FAQ (a link is on the msn groups link page) on where to get those and other ways to tweak it for performance.

eTools, not PCGEN folks. eTools does not allow the resizing of windows. I agree that is a pain. But I do like the framework of the program. Give it a try and let it grow on you. Also check out some of the online resources by the community. http://groups.msn.com/eTools

Well, since no one else answered your question, I looked into it. So far, I am sorry to report.... 1. No 2. No I found no way of picking which spell for Spell Mastery or specifying which spells have been prepared with a metamagic feat on the prepare screen. When Fluid's boards come back up...

A Bug. Restart the program and the feat will be available. Also check out http://groups.msn.com/eTools for more files (like the splat book feats, spells, items, etc).

This is the biggest bug as far as I am concerned. It does not follow the rules at all for Animal Friendship. I have already posted on some suggestion on how to fix it in the actual program. What I would do in the time being is create the mon files of each of your companions and save them off...

I liked it. It was fun to go through. Nice graphics, very few bugs and a good experience. My only problem was my graphics card just had enough ram, but not some of the features, but it still looked good. So I enjoyed it. I would recommend it. I like how the more you used a skill, that is...
