Yep. Deleting an account doesn't patch the gaping hole in their hull caused by running the ship, right out of dock, onto the shoals.

Heck we learned that back in the Play-Tests of D&D. If there was something awful before us that we couldn't or didn't want to understand, well, we did a runner, otherwise known in other circles as "disengagement"! :)
