    I now have Quintessential Rogue!

Just picked it up at my local comic book store of all things. In my quick glance through it, it seems... wonderful. I plan on doing some sort of review on this, but... wow. Everthing I wanted to run a thieves campaign. I recommend you pick it up...! The Crimster

I am an agnostic Illlithid, sorry. The Crimster PS: This would make more sense if you could see my freakin' ICON! BRING EM BACK, ALREADY!) Ahem.

    Players in Orlando, FL

I'm starting up a new group of gamers, and looking for fresh recruits. I'm really looking for gamers that like playing different genres and systems. I'm planning on running/playing any/all of the following: * d20 Cthulhu * 3E D&D (Specifically, a campaign based upon thieves and a thieves'...

Clerics healing HP damage to subdual

Hmm. I'll definitely have to check those out. And in answer to Crothian - YES, the image of players having to carry their comrades out of a fight because they're unconscious, and someone trying to 'hold the line' so that everyone else can retreat - now that is a GOOD image to me. It will add...

Clerics healing HP damage to subdual

Well theoretically, the players will and *should* avoid combat. It will be something to fear - they are thieves after all. They should be in and out with loot in hand.

    Narrow-minded hypocrite

I do not think that I will be the last to say it: DUMP HIM. Move on. Get someone new. Have a smaller group. You do not need that headache. Tell him it's your way or the highway. That said, I think your post was more about venting. I can totally understand that. Breath now. Feel better...

Clerics healing HP damage to subdual

Well, the debate of how many inches of flesh equals 1 hit point is an age old one. I know that most of it is 'dodging' and 'luck' etc. - I embraced that theory of hit points long ago. But rather than get into that, I'm just looking for what you think the repercussions of that type of healing...

    Deadlands d20 In-Character

Yes, I would definitely be into this game, and more than able to answer posts in a timely manner (a big necessity if you'reto have a fun game!). The inclusion of vitality points will make a far more lethal game which is fine with me. Deadlands d20 is not lethal enough in my opinion. I do have...

Clerics healing HP damage to subdual

It's been done in the Wheel of Time RPG, and I happen to like. I've never been a fan of clerics being able to heal someone from near-dead to perfect condition in 2.5 seconds, with no detrimental effect on the formerly wounded person. Healing HP damage to subdual seems like a great idea. I'm...

    Converting old players to 3E

There are a lot of people that seem to enjoy hating something so they won't be a part of 'the institution'. They're cool/different/on-the-cutting-edge that way, daddy-o. This applies to a lot of things, of course. People hating movies before they see them is another example (see thread below...

Martin fans rejoice! Game based on Song of Fire and Ice

http://www.gamingreport.com/article.php?sid=2993&mode=thread&order=0 Not an RPG, but a 'board and CCG' game. I wonder if the license for an RPG based on the world is far behind? The Crimster

Rules/suggestions for running message board game?

I'm thinking of running a game on the message boards here (In Character, I believe) and I was hoping that some of you may have some experience in doing this and might have some advice. I remember a web site somewhere that had a lot of this type of material, but I can't find it again...

Bah. I put out a thread asking this very question on this a couple of days ago and it was ignored like six-day old bread. The Crimster

Email responses. Anyone else having problems?

Beware, bag-of-water-and-flesh-named-Ma'varkith! You show your inferior intellect when compared to mine own! It could be an EN World problem, affecting us all. Bah. This is why it would be so easy for us Illithid to conquer you surface dwellers. The Crimster
