Dragonlance Dragonlance Brings New Options to D&D

I absolutely hate the novels. I thought they were among the worst D&D novels ever written.

D&D 5E (2024) First playtest thread! One D&D Character Origins.

Sure whatever. Play with your strawman by yourself.

Planescape 5 New D&D Books Coming in 2023 -- Including Planescape!

I will buy them all, even Planescape (although that was my least favorite D&D setting of all time and the only thing from the pre-4e game that I ever sold instead of keeping).

D&D 5E (2024) First playtest thread! One D&D Character Origins.

I am fine with that. I liked many of the martial powers, but I disliked the one's that felt like they went beyond martial abilities (blinding everyone in a square with your dagger for example, or magically pulling enemies across the board). I am an avid HERO player. I would love a good set of...

D&D 5E (2024) First playtest thread! One D&D Character Origins.

A return to 4e martial powers is one of the few changes they could make that would make me not buy anything D&D beginning in 2024. The other big one would be doing away with spell levels. There were some things that I liked from 4e (healing surges, psionic classes being in the game, and a few...

    D&D 5E (2024) Digital Only Edition

Not a chance. I have pdf copies of books for reference when I'm away from home. I use hard copy exclusively when playing.

D&D 5E (2014) The "Sealed Envelope" Character Campaign. Would you play?

Absolutely not. No chance. I roleplay to create and play characters I want to play. I am completely uninterested in half the classes and probably 2/3 of the races in the game.

Spelljammer The Forgotten Realms eats Spelljammer before it even finishes digesting Radiant Citadel!

They don't exist in my Eberron. You don't have to feel straight jacketed by the Lore as Written. That's a lifestyle choice. WotC has literally no control of any kind over what happens in my own setting.

Spelljammer Space Clowns Are A Thing In Spelljammer

I was born in 1965 and I have always been afraid of clowns.

D&D 5E (2024) Will we get 5 tiers of game in 5.5 insted of current 4?

Most my games last until level 16-20. I've never had trouble running high level D&D, and my players love it, even the ones playing fighters and rogues.

    All Aboard the Invisible Railroad!

I will not play at a table where GMs use quantum encounters or meaningless choices. I have a lot ofgaming options. And I will state that I never consciously railroad characters by taking their choices away, not in 45 years of GMing.

    D&D 5E (2014) What's Your (Character's) Constitution Score?

My favorite wizard had a CON of 10.

    Arcanis by Paradigm Concepts

D&D 5E (2014) The Next D&D Book is JOURNEYS THROUGH THE RADIANT CITADEL

This is why I'm converting the 3.5 Psionics system for my group this summer. That's the one I liked best and since WotC won't do it, I will.

Meanwhile my 40s to 70s age group likes it.

D&D 5E (2014) Is Tasha's More or Less The Universal Standard?

We use all of Tashas in every one of our games.

Dragonlance DRAGONLANCE is coming this year!

I don't play battle games, so the Krynn battle game may be the very first 5e product I don't buy. The new MAGIC setting on the other hand, I wish that were coming out right now as a 5e setting.

Critical Role The Legend of Vox Machina: Bawdy, Bloody, and Funny

I'm a parent with kids. The show didn't turn us off at all.

D&D 5E (2014) Adding decision points to the Champion. Others might follow?

When I play a fighter, he is a Champion. It's my favorite fighter archetype because of its simplicity. If my GM offered something like this, I would ignore it and play the character by PHB rules.
