I think bounded accuracy is a good idea even if I would want it expanded sa slight bit, and I love conentrationa and adv/disad if they both were used slightly less. also I really like HD over HS, I just think you need more of them and tie all healing to them.

that seems to be it... most fans of the class don't like it. Most people who didn't like it now likee it more... with a few outliers on each side.

why did they take fireball off the fiend list and put fear in it's place?!? Also why blight over Fire shield? and then they replaced Hallow with incest plague!?!? my 9th level fiend lock loses access to hallow entirely unless I missed a rule.

that falls under the special knowledge rule. I used to date a law student that could NOT stand most shows that had lawyers in it. At the time I was getting into suits and if it was on when he was over it would cause him headaches.

TBF things I like or mostly like Like: true sight for witch sight contact patron feature different casting stat options kind of like: The idea of combining all the "use X spell" sounds great until you realize you might have wanted 2 3rd level ones but you can't take the same level twice...

for me monsters need 2 reason to be made 1) a story thing they bring to the game over all 2) a mechanical thing they bring to the game over all and no "We need more CR 3 undead" or "We need an upgrade after kobold to goblin to orc" are not good reasons for 1 or 2

this is what made playing an 11th level warlock so fun... I did that for months before getting to 12th I had a bunch of at will spells (detect magic, speak with animals, minor illusion ect) I had good melee and ranged attack cantrip and I had 2 resources that needed a short rest that had a list...

my fear is that we will just end up with basic reprints of most monsters with some getting a small boost to damage and or hp at higher CR

Yeah the difference between "I regain everything every adventure no matter what" and "I recover my level or double my level hp with bed rest per day" means nothing if you can take a month in town. unless somehow after 30days of your level you are not healed... in that case please tell me how...

man I don't even know for sure what book that's from but it sounds like the wizard I once liked and have come to think of as the creepy guy...

we have a system for 3rd party in theory but in practice it has become just "no" so by trying to make sure everyone is happy we basicly made a ssytem where no new 3pp books are coming in and we only have a few we arleady use... HOWEVER DM side content is easier. THe DM can bring in monsters...

also I wonder if (not even when but really if) we will be playtesting monsters

Ii have three warlocks thaat I have low level character sheets for, I think I want to try this and see what they look like... I have to ask how you handled the celestial pact since I have 1 fiend, 1 fey, and 1 hexblade

that is a thing we would have to play but my gut says that might work
