If this were a story, it could be interesting. As a player I would hate it. It seems like everything has been decided and the player has a "script" rather than agency. At least the way it's described.

Gonzo can be a blast. We've had fun with it from time to time. Best advice though: make sure your players are on board. Some people hate​ genre mixing and mash-ups.

I didn't think of the burrowing. As far as the caster goes,meh casts buffs mainly. So I'm thinking its a good spot to ride out battle after casting all of the buffs he can. He can help the cleric heal from inside (since the cleric can come and go) and when it's time to come out, he can leave...

I was wondering if Leomund's Tiny Hut, if cast just before a battle with a green dragon, would be a respite spot for the cleric to heal party members and to escape the poisonous breath weapon? The wizard who cast it does need to stay in the hut, but, he and the cleric will hopefully have buffed...
