Hi Gary. I was wondering if you'd gotten the chance to finish reading "The Peshawar Lancers" yet, and what your opinion of it was.

I haven't read any of the books mentioned in this thread (not a post apoc type of guy), but what I've read of Stirling's work I've enjoyed. This includes some contributions to the "Worlds of Honor" anthologies for David Weber's "Honor Harrington" series, The Sky People, and The Peshawar Lancers...

OooOOoo, now THIS is what has struck my interest. Titans have been, in my opinion, severely underutilized throughout D&D's history. I look forward to this article more than any other. Did they provide an example of an advanced Titan or Titans?

Call of Cthulhu, any version, but I really, really dug the CoC d20 campaign I played in a few years back. I also dig Delta Green, a lot. I actually liked the background for Dark Conspiracy, but the actual game itself, not so much. I'd probably run it with d20 Modern and/or CoC d20 rules.

If WotC releases 4e as a non-OGL, non-d20 compliant game, all that will happen, essentially, is that the game industry will pretty much go on as it has, except then the OGL game that is, basically, d20 mechanically will be another competitor...

Yeah, I'd like to see a d20 take on the magic system from that game. For the rest of it, I'd use the d20 NPC classes for grogs and "everyone else," regular PC classes for companions and special NPCs, and the UA Gestalt rules for the Mages.
