So what is covered in the Titan article? Is there an advanced Titan statblock given?

    TSR Q&A with Gary Gygax

Hi Gary. I was wondering if you'd gotten the chance to finish reading "The Peshawar Lancers" yet, and what your opinion of it was.

S.M.Stirling's "Dies the Fire" Trilogy (cool new map)

I haven't read any of the books mentioned in this thread (not a post apoc type of guy), but what I've read of Stirling's work I've enjoyed. This includes some contributions to the "Worlds of Honor" anthologies for David Weber's "Honor Harrington" series, The Sky People, and The Peshawar Lancers...

    Dragon #357

OooOOoo, now THIS is what has struck my interest. Titans have been, in my opinion, severely underutilized throughout D&D's history. I look forward to this article more than any other. Did they provide an example of an advanced Titan or Titans?

    Best horror RPG, bar none!

Call of Cthulhu, any version, but I really, really dug the CoC d20 campaign I played in a few years back. I also dig Delta Green, a lot. I actually liked the background for Dark Conspiracy, but the actual game itself, not so much. I'd probably run it with d20 Modern and/or CoC d20 rules.

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Setting: Map up!

See, I knew nobody reads my posts. See post 53.

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Setting: Map up!

Actually, that's what made me go "oooOOooooOOOooo" when I saw it.

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Setting: Map up!

I knew that this town was named after a game show (one hosted by Bob Barker for a number of years). I checked Wikipedia and here's the full story:

D&D 4E What if 4e (whenever it happens) is not OGL?

The industry, such as it is, would like simply shrink back to pre-3e D&D levels, or maybe just a bit larger. There were quite a few games back in the pre-3e days, as we all probably recall. Matter of fact, I'm pretty confident that the RP game industry will remain larger than it was before 3e...

D&D 4E What if 4e (whenever it happens) is not OGL?

There have been entirely different game systems that have survived with no connection to D&D whatsoever. There's no reason to believe that OGL games like Mutants & Masterminds and Conan will see the floor drop out from under their popularity with the advent of an entirely different 4e D&D...

Giants in the Earth discussion: Madmartigan & other Willow characters

Not in the least. A lot of the character write-ups say things like such-and-such character is "3 levels higher" than the highest level PC, with little more than that for game stats. The only redeeming element is a really interesting backstory for Madmartigan.

D&D 4E What if 4e (whenever it happens) is not OGL?

Mostly because of what others have already said - many d20 and OGL publishers have already either stopped using the system we know as d20, or have established enough of an identity with their OGL games that they stand alone (Mutants & Masterminds, Conan). Certainly some companies will be...

What would happen if WotC yanked the d20 License? [and OGL]

I'm actually not sure what the point is, to be honest. If WotC releases 4e as a non-OGL, non-d20 compliant game, all that will happen, essentially, is that the game industry will pretty much go on as it has, except then the OGL game that is, basically, d20 mechanically will be another competitor...

What would happen if WotC yanked the d20 License? [and OGL]

The world ends. I mean, what answer are you looking for? Your question implies you have one of your own. Why not simply express it right from the outset? What would most likely happen is that companies continue to use the OGL-compliant rules-set, the one that is, essentially, what we now know...

Are the Scarlet bro's and Iuz holding GREYHAWK back?

I actually don't see how any of those named are all that silly (and it's Geoff, by the way). Matter of fact, one could find pretty much a limitless number of more strange or funnier-sounding place names in the real world.

Are the Scarlet bro's and Iuz holding GREYHAWK back?

Yeah, that's exactly my feeling on it, but apparently there are lots of people who want a setting with an advancing storyline. Trouble is, what works for a fiction series doesn't necessarily work for a RPG world. Or at least it doesn't work as well. Complaints about the world being static or...

Are the Scarlet bro's and Iuz holding GREYHAWK back?

I always thought of Greyhawk as being a snapshot in time of a setting, which is then developed at the gaming table by individual DMs. One of the things that turned me off of settings like FR was that they became ever-changing at the hands of someone other than individual DMs. Personally, I'd...

Monte Cooks WoD is for 3.5

Yeah, I'd like to see a d20 take on the magic system from that game. For the rest of it, I'd use the d20 NPC classes for grogs and "everyone else," regular PC classes for companions and special NPCs, and the UA Gestalt rules for the Mages.
