    Medium Armor: Why?

And depending on how you can argue it, you can make celestial mithril armor. Which is a little silly, but awesome if you can get it.

    Medium Armor: Why?

Because without medium armor, mithral full plate would be light armor.

D&D 3.x How to make a 3.5 monk with western flavor?

Yeah, the main thing I was looking for was a Monk with some of the, in my opinion, more heavily wushu flavored powers replaced with something more appropriate. An unarmored, simple weapon fighter type. Though it seems the general consensus for working with the Monk class is, "don't."

D&D 3.x How to make a 3.5 monk with western flavor?

Just a thought I had, since it seems like pretty much every monk in every tabletop game is an Eastern monk. Based on the Shao Lin monks, practicing martial arts, wearing their robes or similarly styled clothing, with heavily wushu based abilities (slow fall, abundant step, quivering palm, for...

    D&D 3.x D&D 3.5: Rewards for DM?

In game? Not that I can think of in the same vein as XP and treasure like for players. The DM runs the universe, if he wants someone to have a Holy Avenger +80 that also makes an incredible souffle, it's theirs. Though, you could maybe give the GM action points of some sort. When he does...

    D&D 3.x Raccoon stats for 3.5?

I'd say just use a cat. They're not so different that I think it'd make a huge difference for gameplay.

    Shrink Item

I always think the best way to deal with a tarrasque is to make it smarter (harpoon of intellect maybe?) hit it with Tongues, and then try to talk it out of it's rampage.

    The cost of diamonds

For a real world scenario, it's relevant, but in the actual game, how much of a difference does it make? When people need the diamonds, they're probably not going to be thinking of carats or color or clarity or cut, but will be thinking in terms of how much they're going to need to pay for the...

Help me a little with a character backstory...

I've thought about doing something similar, an Archer Paladin of Love. Mostly because arrows or charm person should cost the same as arrows of sleep.

Highest Level a character can reach with CR2 encounters

Interestingly, according to that calculator you'd eventually hit the same level cap with a team of 4 PCs, it would just take you longer.

Highest Level a character can reach with CR2 encounters

According to this calculator, level 10. You'd get 225 XP per CR 2 encounter at level 9, and keep doing so until you level up. At level 10, you get 0 XP per encounter.

Does it have to be Good with a capital G? Olidamarra is a trickster god, but CN. Garl Glittergold is another trickstery god, and is NG.

    Vote for this Shadowdancer Variant.

On the whole, I'd say it's balanced. I voted +1 since it's actually a useful prestige class rather than a class for prestige's sake. With the sneak attack damage, I almost think that d4 HP is too little, for even a barely melee character. But d6 would give it regular rogue hp, without...

Need help with balancing a race

Part of it is, as kitcik said, they're very good at certain classes, and not good at others, which doesn't really work for balance. It means that they'll be good if you want to play one type of class, and nobody will bother with the others. Likewise, spiderclimb with penalties is still better...

Need help with balancing a race

Give them at least 2 legs, put their eyes high up on the body so they can see when they're going to fall over. 4 legs would be even better. In my opinion, +4 NA and spiderclimb at will is worth at least 1 LA each. the -2 dex will be, for the most part, rendered moot by the NA. It's a chain...

    Geas/Quest Spell Question

Well, in that case, someone's being a terrible parent for casting geas on you, and for raising a kid who wants to mass murder an entire city. Plus, they obviously ignored their Asimov, since they left out a prohibition against allowing people to come to harm through inaction.
