    Geas/Quest Spell Question

I would argue that you can't be made to repress all memories of your powers. Geas talks about actions to take (or not take) but remembering something isn't really an action. And most people can't choose to do so, any more than you can choose to not think of pink elephants for a minute. Also...

    Items for a Bard Cleric

If there's a bunch of undead, such that turning would be regularily useful, more charisma is always good. If he doesn't have one already, a cloak of charisma would make him better at being both a bard and a cleric. Or, (and I have no idea if this is a real item, and what it would cost to...

can a Simulacrum craft for you?

I've been assuming it couldn't lose XP since it doesn't have XP to lose. It's got levels or HD, but nothing to my mind says it's actually got, gained, or can have experience on its own.

    economy of dnd

Like Kitcik said, the economy in general kinda sucks as a real economy. Adventurers would cause constant and horrific inflation at any small-medium towns they visit, being able to actually purchase magic items requires a substantial adventuring class that requires them, and so on. If you just...

Would you allow a companion animal as a mount?

I don't see any huge difference it'd make, so why not?

    Ranged melee without provoking?

At level 10 (or 9?) you get to do it as a class feature, if you can wait that long.

    Nonlethal Damage

Has anyone played the Star Wars d20 game? I think that their method for dealing with HP could come close to what people are talking about, but I've not played it in years, so I may be misremembering. And of course, you'd have to heavily alter much of the system to make it balanced. It's...

    Nonlethal Damage

But a coup de grace is a full round action, different from a normal attack. Not just any attack against a helpless opponent. So you can just make regular attacks, without needing to be forced to crit.

Does it have to be pdf, or are you just looking for a compter friendly format? Because you can get much (but by no means all) of the stuff from www.d20srd.org

    Nonlethal Damage

I wonder if the drowning method would work for sticking a knife into him very gently a few times until he wakes up, thus ensuring that he never goes into negative hp.

Need military help Vietnam War in Nexus D20

I think, (and wikipedia backs me up on this, but that's as reliable as you want to take it) that the PJs were around (and called such) during Vietnam. Hence the green footprint tattoo, from the Jolly Green Giant helicopters they used. No clue if they were special forces at the time though...

    Question regarding Bardic Knowledge

The way I've seen it happen in games that I played a bard in was that it was for things like legends and songs and myths. A bard knows tales, so he'd know the stuff about those tales. That the local mayor's daughter eloped with the blacksmith's son? Not so much. That there's a grove in the...

An Unusual Use for Rust Monsters

If you team them up with Bullettes, they can get in and wreak havoc without prior warning, plus have the Bullettes undermine city walls. You'd probably have to twist things around a bit, but if the rust monsters can do their job in the water supply, all the corroded metal would go a long way...

can a Simulacrum craft for you?

Mundanely craft stuff, sure why not? Won't be as good as if you did it yourself, with half the relevant skill bonus, but looks like it. Crafting wondrous items, magic arms, scrolls, etc... however, I don't think so. Those require XP and the simulacrum doesn't seem to have any.

Yeah, but we're not talking about spell resistance, we're talking about outright Magic Immunity, which may or may not be the same thing.
