Retcon means retroactive continuity. In other words, continuity that had been previously established is changed retroactively. No continuity changed with 4e Realms. The landscape changed, but if you have a character travel back in time 100 years, the Realms in the 3e books is what they'd find...

Necromancer's still going ahead, according to Orcus on the Necromancer boards. Tome of Horrors won't be 4e, and they have to change APG some, but they're still doing 4e stuff.

It'll be many, many, many months yet. They said they want to have most or all of the applications up before they start charging. And they expect to have at least a month gap between each of the application's releases. And the first one (last I checked) isn't even up yet.

I'll quite happily play any system I can get the books for. But, when G/DMing, I choose to G/DM the systems I prefer. I'll DM 4e, but not 3e or 3.5e. And don't have the books for anything previous. I'll GM Star Wars Saga or Star Wars D6, but not D20 or Revised. I'll GM Mutants and Masterminds...

My first choice would be a cleric. but I wouldn't mind taking anything that's needed.
